Just found this call from David Baxter.  I'm wondering...anyone else here find out they were a victim of the Target data breach?

I received 2 voicemail the last 2 days, heavy accent voice Jennifer White saying from dept of legal affairs us Treasury threatened me I must return this call at the end . she says "have a blessed day,and god bless!  I can't believe any gov. Agency would say this

I got two voicemails. From 559-3282396 the first was 65 seconds and was from Ray Walter although he sounded Indian, warning of the impending legal action. 2 minutes later I got 6 second voicemail from the same number with the man speaking in his native tongue. I guess he accidentally called me.

So, Jennifer White called again today, claiming messy legal problems if I delay calling her back.  She claims to be from the department of legal affairs. 559 328-2394, called but no ring tone just silence.  Who are these imposters?  Any body know?

My husband got a call from a middle eastern today threatening to send a detective to take him to jail unless he pays $1000. He also said they had been tracking him and listening to his phone calls for the last 3 days and they know where he is. He got very rude when my husband say he was broke and wasnt paying anything. The man then said well in 45 minutes the detective will be coming to you. What a scam! I would like him to come in my yard. I have some lead waiting that sand n****!

This guy called me yesterday and said the same thing. He asked for the correct spelling of my name and wanted my social and phone number. He had a arabic accent, and I believe that this is a untraceable phone like a track phone.

And they called me twice...gutsy I must say.  I also tried calling and nothing but silence.

"Have a blessed day indeed".

I got the same call from a Jennifer White with a this Asian or what ever accent.  Called me by my first name only proceeded  with threats of a messy legal matter if I didn't return call right away and ended with "have a blessed day"  WTF?

Yeah confirmed... it's not even ringing at this point. Apparently there was a news report about this scam on one of our local TV stations (Las Vegas).

Received call as well, did try to call the number back and appears they have discontinued that line......interested to know if anyone was able to report successfully?

I'm having my attorney call him and mess with him.  I'll let you folks know how it goes! :)

Same here. Just got the call this morning at 7 am!

I have received the call three days in a row. Knowing this is a scam, I called them back and told them I was aware this is a scam , will report them, and to lose my number. I can't believe there is not a government agency that can go to the owner of this number and arrest them. The government can find everyone else, why not these idiots!

We had the same exact message from "Alex Young" left on our answering machine this morning at 8:30...clearly a scam attempt.  Additional searches for US Treasury Department of Legal Affairs scams indicate that they'll ask for immediate payment of some amount ($7-8K) to settle your tax debt or you will be arrested in 30 minutes.  ROFL!!!

I just received the same call at about 4:30. I called my local police department and talk to the fraud people. She said to call the Iowa Attorney General and report it to them as well. My call was the same as yours, name and the pleasantries at the end of the call. i still have it on my answering machine. It is a sick world we live in.

Just received call from Alice Young claiming to be from legal affairs US Treasury.  Doubt valid phone call and suspect hoax trying to get confidential information.  Would not respond!!

Got a call from this number stating it was David Baxter from US Treasury Dept of legal affairs and that I needed to call him back pending enforcement action against me.  He had a thick indian or middle eastern accent and then wished me a nice day at the end of the threat.  Numerous posts about the same.  Hope they can get him.
