Answered and no one was there. I called 'em back. Recorded message claimed to be involved in fund raising

I am in the do not call list.

A man called asking for frank who does not live here and said i will call back later....strange

Just got a call from this number - Caller ID said Fresno, CA - caller ID'ed himself as a professional fundraiser calling on behalf of California Police & Fire something or other. Told him I couldn't help and hung up.

Seems its another Scam Call

Just a beep tone.It came from FRESNO

"Hello - you have reached our fund raising office"

The call came from Fresno.... two calls simultaneously - asked both to hold..
answered the first - they hung up....
answered the second - they hung up...

RECEIVED CALL FROM INDIVIDUAL CLAIMINNG TO REPRESENT A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION SEARCHING FOR KIDNAPPED CHILDREN.  THEY WERE TRYING VERIFYING HOME ADDRESS AND OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION.

WHEN ASKED FOR THEIR INFORMATION THEY HUNG UP, BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM...

Received a call from (559) 478-7507 and answered it because we're expecting a call from someone whose number we don't know. It was a recording saying "Please hold while we try to transfer you." (I thought the use of the word "try" was a little odd in this context). I held because, as mentioned before, we're expecting a call related to some business we're dealing with. After a 30-45 second pause, the voice said, "Good-bye," and that was the end of it.   ???

got a call from this number and they said to hold while they transferred. yeah right.  I hung up.  The one thing that irks the heck out of me is someone calling my house and telling ME what to do! They have it real twisted, as the kids say.  Only a creditor has as much you-know-what to call your house and tell you what to do!

I RECEIVED A CALL STATING THAT THEY WERE PART OF THE CHPD DEPT AND THEY WERE DOING A CHARITY. THAT I WOULD RECEIVE A BUMPER STICKER IF I GAVE A DONATION. DON'T KNOW IF IT'S A SCAM. SO I HUNG UP.

Another no name call.

Received call on May 3rd 2011,  I do not answer if I don't recognize the number. They left no message.

559-478-7507 calls and before they get the recorder they hang up!

A$$holes called 8:30pm last nite, when asked who this is, they laughed and hung up! Kind of tuff when you start work at 3:00am.
