March & April 2014 Received 2 phone calls, both males with foreign accents, one says he was with Windows, 2nd says he was with Microsoft. Advised my computer was in danger of crashing. He knew my name and some of my info. Asked me to go to "Programs" on my computer. I then got suspicious and told him I didn't have time and hung up.

Same as above.  He told me he was from Microsoft and my computer had been hacked.  Told me he calling from Washington DC and his name was Jack Williams.  Heavy accent, likely Indian Sub Continent. I told him he was a scam artist and to take a hike!

Mark Alvin Ext 103 hacker and scammer saying from Microsoft Windows

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM A MAN NAMED MARTIN WITH MICROSOFT HE HAS A VERY HEAVY ACCENT, AND WANTS FOR ME TOTURN ON MY COMPUTER BECAUSE IT HAS VIRUSES. HE SAD. THE NUMBER HE TOLD ME TO CALL IS 5595295300

they just called me.  I said that it didn't work what he told me to type in.  I didn't type it in just told him that.  He said it is not loading.  Then I asked for a number to call back to verify and I called back and someone named John answered the phone.  I told him i just read about this on this website and I would appreciate that they do not call me again because the only hackers I would have would be them if I gave them the information they wanted.  He said maam you have it wrong.  We want to help.  I told them I was going to give this number to J.S.O. (I read this above so thank you whoever wrote that and I told him i called Microsoft and they said it was a scam to get my information.  He said we are from windows and microsoft is a separate department and I asked him then why did he answer the phone as Microsoft Windows?  And I hung up as he was talking.  The phone number came over as private and the guy I talked to was Austin.  I am glad I thought of typing in this phone number into google and I read what you all wrote.  Thank you all.

I got the same call on my cell phone, he said the same thing as he said to you. Finally I ask him to call me back on my house phone and of course he didn't.. I tried to call back with the same phone no. he gave you and nothing so I callred him on my other cell phone and he answered that call. Same voice. This is a scam, don't fall for it. Is their a ph. no. I can call to report this to microsoft as that is who he said he was calling for., if so let me know as I will try to stop this man from doing this to other people.

Thank goodness I contacted Windows before calling him back.  I appreciate the help.

I just received a call from a  man with a very heavy accent, could barely understand him...said that he was with microsoft and that my computer was sending error messages, wanted me to do all this stuff to my computer, when i asked for a phone number her gave me 559-529-5300, read the page and I told him that I believed he was trying to get me to hack my own computer for him, he replied " what you want me to do lady" you want to loose your computer, I REPLIED , REALLY YOUR GOING TO THREATEN ME!!  REALLY !! he hung up, this is undoubtly a scam, rude people, that I believe are trying something funny here!!

This guy just called me , And when I told him He was being transfferd to J.S.O.( Smile ),He told me to go ahead an f*** up, then he hung up.    How about that!!!!!!!!!!

Same thing happened to us today. Claims he from microsoft and someones hacking into our computer. It comes up unavailable on caller id. I told him I would call him back and thats the phone number he gave me. Whats scary is he knows your name when he calls.....what else does he know about you? Not good!

I just received a call saying my computer had a virus and he was from Microsoft Windows

July 10th, 2012 I got a call from this number wanting my computer info with the same speach about computer being hacked.  I turned this number into the police in my town. This can be very dangerous.

A guy calls my cell phone and says he is Peter and has a heavy india accent. Says my PC is sending messages to their system, which is a virus at work. He says he calls from company called Windows. Tough luck I do not run windows.... Be aware!!!!! He wants me to follow steps to 'CHECK' my PC. He wants credit card number. I would not fall for this but others might.

Just received the same scam call.  Asked me to go into my pc so he could repair it. told him my pc was fine.  He insisted I definitely had a problem.  told him I would call him back, he gave me his number as 559 529 5300.  Their phone does answer, However my phone will not capture their name or number. It just indicates private.  I'm sure they would like to get inside your computer and steal all your personal data.

no way this is even a legitimate post. No way did anyone help you fix your computer!! this is too funny. it is a scam. they are not fixing anyone's computer!!

He said was from Microsoft Windows

Got a call from a restricted number.  He said he was from Microsoft Windows and had reports of viruses being downloaded to my computer.  He instructed me to turn my computer on.  I explained that I didn't know him and it sounded like a scam.  He assured me it was not a scam.  I asked for his number and was given 529-559-5300.  I told him I would look into this and call him back.  I just called the number to see if it was the correct phone number and sure enough it was disconnected.  Wow, I really wonder where they got my number from and what other information they had.  He did ask for me by name.  He had an accent like someone from India.

Please be wary of anyone that calls you out of the blue and says your computer needs repaired.  This is a central california phone number, yet the web site  traces back to a firm in India

Yes i also received the same call and it was Ryan it self but it was like i was facing a problem on the computer and he showed me the problems that was caused on the computer and he fixed it for free...and my computer is working totaly fine now...so thank you Ryan for your help.

I just received a call from Ryan here and he also told me that he has all of my information. Told him I was too busy and I would call him back. He said he would fix all of the problems I was having with my computer and windows??? I haven't been having any issues so what ????

We got a call from this number 5595295300. on Jan 11 and again on Jan 12. he calls when I'm not home and tells my wife that our computer is in danger of crashing and needs to be repaired. She refused to open the computer and do what he says, then after a while he tells her that he has all the info. and knows our names and everything. but my wife was smart enough to not do this and instead asked him for a call back number so I could call him and solve this problem, but he didn't want to give us a number, but after some time he did but the number is not in service. So I urge you not to answer this call or you could be on of the thousands of victims that are sorry that they did
