I just recieved a call from the following numbers (323)205-3207 and (223) 390-4400 both numbers are from Los Angles, Ca. The man would not give me his name he stated that instacash was sueing me this friday 5/21/10 because I owed them money and he said they sent me emails advising me of the situation. I asked for the information and he would not give it to me. I asked if he could fax me the information and he wouldn't. He said that he would be at my house to pick me up on Friday to take me to court. I asked him if he could tell me where the court was located. He wouldn't and he said he would pick me up. I told him I would not be at home that I would be at work. H said he would pick me up at work. I started to get upset with him and tell him I have no idea what he was talking about then he hung up on me. I am going to call my local police and file a report. yes i got that call at my job i never had a thing from them i was all scared they threatened me and said i was being sued for fruad and my bank said no funds ever came from them ever and i calmed down but im a young adult and i was all panicy i was like i never did anything they said i would b getting something in the mail its such a scam report them and u know its is because before you can be sued u should get both written warnings also not a phone call and if they can all of a sudden harass u for money and reach u now y not do it when u owned the money not by email!!! this was so not funny they called my job how rude and nerve wreaking it not right report them if u ever get a call like this they can not do that to u! and they dont let u finish talking they cut u off they get your info from other loans u may have had they are people who prey on ppl hoping to get money out of them trying to by trying to scare you

no calls today from anyone and no papers served to me at my home or job! i guees that is good news! these people definely have a foreign accent and it almost sounded like a recording with different people talking but their words had somehow been jumbled together to make it sound one person? i hope i don't get any more calls and i wish that they wouldn't call anyone else but that won't happen unless every person that they harrass reports them! i also found the 714 number had a ton of complaints posted and they could be using other numbers too!

I had gotten a call from my daugher-in-law in Michigan, that she had gotten a call from either Harry or Terry Google (cute) with the same info that has been reported above.  I googled the number and found this site.  I've called her back and told her to contact the city police and make a report against these people.  She said that they had her home phone number, address, date of birth and social security number.  They did cite a "California Case Number" of VS144.  The number on her caller ID was
714-006-6000, which when called is not a valid number.

I just got hit by these scammers as well.  Two ppl with REALLY BAD accents called me just now here in Florida telling me about this $871.00 I owe to InstaCash, and as a result, I will be subpoeanaed, if I don't show up in court, there will be a warrant, etc.  I did fill out an online payday loan thing back when I was desperate enough, but came to my senses about halfway through.  What really concerns me is the fact these ruthless idiots actually have my Social Security Number.  They also threatened my unemployment benefits, blacklisting my SSN, and all other kinds of "fun stuff".  Does anyone know if they have ever followed through on any of their threats, and what can I do to legally return the "favor" on these phone maniacs??

I have been getting calls from this too. She said that was the number to her village. Then she corrected herself and said that was the number to her division. It has had me freaked out too because I also have payday loans but am paying them back. Anyway reading your post was a relief. I have just let the calls go straight to voicemail and haven't gotten anything in the mail.

i recieved a call from this number before i made a payment to them before 1240 now they are claiming that i owe them again and that i first he said 5400 then he hung up on me i called back he looked for a case file and claim i owe 1245 when i beegin asking questions he is getting offended his name is brian oconnor. he is really impolite screaming on me i owe no one anything i know this. he called me from 5593990355. what can be done about this

Camille, Do not pay these guys nothing this is a total scam. They were calling me from a different # but I found their phone carrier and caled that carrier's fraud dept and they shut down the phone lines with in 20min. These people are scammers. I am going to look into the # that you were told to call. Once I can get something done I will let you know. For now dont worry about these people.

OMG!!!  This is such a relief!!!  I really thought that maybe somehow I applied for something by mistake and now it was coming back to bite me!!!  I received a phone call from 714-598-4047 and they stated that they were from United Attorney Law Firm (or United Attorney Services, depending on who you talked to).  Proceeded to tell me that I'm being sued for not paying back a loan that I got and when I tried to tell them I've never applied for anything online they called me a LIAR!!  What really disturbed me is they had my checking account # (called my bank and closed that account) and social security #.  Who are these people???????  Made me very upset and scared!!  Watch out

After messing with these guys for a cpl of weeks. They stoped taking my calls so I could not have fun wiht them anymore so I emailed their phone carrier and their phone line has been cut off now. To bad because I was having so much fun messing with this guy He said his name was John Anderson and after messing with him so much he started telling me that John Anderson was killed in a car accident thinking that would stop me from calling them but it didn't :)But now I have to find a new # for these guys and I will mess them and when that fun ends I will have their lines turned off also.

I recvd a call on Saturday 05-15-2010 while I was at work and this person advised me just like every else that I owed them $436.91 and that I was being sued for not paying a loan. I got really freaked out and decided then & there I was going to do whatever I could to pay them back. But he asked me for a notarized letter and my credit card # with the 3 digit code behind it. I lied and said I didnt have the card with me but I would give him a call back. he said it was fine. His name is Donald Jackson & the Senoir ATTy is Arneal Altman the number they are calling form is 818-836-6609 the fax they gave was 206-666-3997. I told him today I just faxed your letter and he said I did recieve it but I cant make it out COMPLETE BU****. I just got off the phone with my local police dept and advised them I aslo called my bank and they closed my accounts and also stated someone unknown had taken 49.00 dollars they gave me the number and it started with 818. My bank said they were going to start a case as well. Don't fall for this it's a SCAM!!!!

got 5 in a row calls from them telling me that there was a lawsuit filed against me in california.  i don't even live in california, nor do i owe anything in that state.  i live in the midwest.  they spoke english with a very bad & hard to understand accent.  when i would hang up on them they continued calling me (at work!!) and when i kept hanging up, they kept calling me back, they even asked to speek to my manager!!!!!

I haven't received any calls from that number but I have received a call from the same number as Renee. The number was 3232053207. It is very scarey that they know so much about your personal information but I enrolled in lifelock a few days after eceiving that call because I was really losing sleep over it.They knew my address,my social security number, and when he told me the names of my children I felt very protective. Once they know that you have caught on they stop answering or one even tried to threaten me with going to jail. Lifelock only costs like $9.00 a month and the first 30 days are even free. That gave me peace of mind.

I just got a phone call from these guys on monday. they said that i owed them 936.40 i said for what, and they told me that i got a payday loan from instacash that i hadnt paid back. i told them that i had never gotten a payday loan, then he read me an affidavit that supposedly had all of the charges that were supposed to filed against me. i told him that i would be doing some backround investigating on this company that he worked for United Attorney Services, and he immediately hung up the phone. i tried to call the number back that he called me from and it was disconnected. Please be aware of these scammers, they are no good. if they call you just hang up in there face or get your number changed.

Dear G B, going thru this problem right now their looking for $1050.52 what a scam, I have a good phone number as of this morning, the name is Mike Anderson at 714-598-4093. Go get them!!

I received a call from the people also claim that I owed them money and need to contact them immediately.  Upon received such a harashment message I want to know what are these people talking about. They told me that they are a law firm that is handling case for some check business name InstaCash.  The name of their law firm is Anderson Law Firm so as they continue to proceed with what I was supposed to be charge with they told me I had Fraud and that I would be sue in court in my state of Ohio. When I got upset and told them that I did not know nothing about this company and never received a letter they told me that it was sent to my email address under cookie!  
Well me not been a computer person I immediately told them that somebody would have to check this out because I'm lost for words and have no clue what is going on.  The man process on to tell me the amount that I can pay and I would not have to worried about the court procedure.  They gave me the amount of 466.13 and of course I asked what is it for again?  They hung up on me and when my daughter arrive I told her about this call and she return the call and start asking questions also and this time they gave her a different total amount that I owe this company and want to speak with my attorney.  I hope that something can be done with this company ASAP because it is a damn shame to have to recieve threaten calls like this.  Here is the number that they call me from:  1-530-331-8232

These people have been doing this to me for YEARS. They always call from different numbers, the latest being (904) 469-7962, which is a Florida number. Last week they left me a California number to call back. I don't even think they are in the U.S. I think they are in a foreign country routing their calls through U.S. numbers. Anyway, DON'T give them A DIME! You cannot go to jail for owing anyone money-no matter what! It is a civil matter. I asked for their address (so I can give it to the FBI, though I didn't tell them that) and they gave me a bogus address with an APARTMENT NUMBER! haha. Really, you work for United Attorney out of your apartment? The script is always pretty much the same in a very menacing voice: "This message is for Jane. Jane, the very minute you get this message I need you or your attorney to return the call. This is a very urgent, time sensitive matter. Do not ignore this call. If you do ignore this call and I do not hear from your attorney either, all I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Goodbye." They won't validate the debt in writing (because it doesn't exist), and by law they are required to do that. I'm sooo tired of this after two years of their games. Now I just have fun messing with them.

I just had the same problem, they called me from California, I did a reverse phone number search and it came up as non existant number, they said I owed Instacash money, I told them WHO!!!!!!! I don't even know what that is, they had my bank account number and everything even the routing number.  I went back online to see if there were any deposits made into my account from InstaCash and came up with a big fat goose egg "0".  I just want toi know how they got my account numbers.

This sounds like the same guy who had been calling me for the last 2 weeks i cannot imagine 2 years of this!! I have 2 different #'s 724-949-0534 & 813-527-3623. All of these people are definately Indian and all have names like Jason Smith,Neil, & Steve Butler, not very Indian names to be sure. I was told the same song & dance you all have been talking about, but there were 2 different placed instacash and advanced cash usa. I just placed a block on my number and reported them to my local police/detective dept, however they stated it is like chasing ghosts, and they are probably not even in this country. I'd like to know how to shut down their phones.

all the above are false and its true that if someone calls you and informs you about the transaction and this transaction are not withness by any banks. it is true that some persons just tries for identity theft and does this transactions by using others Social Security Number, references person. So according to American Law one have to take care as this is the case of Identity theft.

Its true that only the real company calls ................... and you need to pay it back for what you own otherwise you will have to face the consequences.

I received 4 calls at my work from a 559 area code number, with the same scenario saying that they were from cashnetusa.com and that I owed them $2,298.45, but they could negotiate a payment for any amount I was able to pay TODAY! If not, they would appear at my place of employment and arrest me for criminal violation of fraud to steal money. Sounded like they had indian accents, but they had american names like Craig Millow, and Julian Marshall. They continue to harass me at work, by calling me and leaving me threatening messages that they are reporting me to my employer and garnishing my wages. Now they are saying they are calling from a law office, Vidor Law.com threatening ime that f I don't call back, then they will appear at my work on Monday, to arrest me as an example to all who violate this type of loans. Please, come and arrest me I will be ready. Don't know what you are talking about!!!  Scammers beware!!
