2 calls Friday and Saturday, same time, unknown caller, no message.

Received a call from 561-026-9755.  The message on my voice mail asked  in a strong irritated tone "are you there?  What the heck". He talked to someone in the background and hung up.  Creepy sounding message.  

Received a phone call from this number during the dinner hour.  Caller ID listed "Florida" as the source of the call.  Left no message.  We don't answer calls whose number we don't recognize.

heard on talk show "do not call  these numbers back as scammer can some way charge money to your phone which they can get"  do not know how
this works but the low lives out there know how to cheat us.

Called at dinner time, I was feeling ticked off so I answered.  Chick trying to sell me extended warranty on my car.   When I said "NO THANK YOU" she said "you could have told me that before I said all this stuff!" and hung up on me.  Now I wish I would have kept her on the line longer and wasted more of her time :)

Ok this a scam, it is some company with a bogus phone number calling from Florida to get you to purchase an extended warrently on your auto.   They will ask is you still have a certain car, then try and convience you that you are out of warrently of course wanting more and more info and a credit card.

The twit who called me when I told him no I have an extended warrently on my Jeep got nasty and hung, up.   Too bad it must be the only job he can find.

Just block the calls.

Got a call from this phone number.  I am on the no-call list and don't want these intruders invading my privacy.

Obviously a scam.  No phone number,area code or exchange, will EVER begin with the number '0'  (zero).

I'll add one other thing -- does he or she actually think anyone who DOES read this web site actually knows what his or her numbers actually are so that we know what numbers not to call?

Oh, wait!  Let's call the VooDoo guy and ask him!

I Had this Person Call I Did Not Answer the Phone

Call from 561 026 9755.  I answered, one of those machines that doesn't pop your call into an agent until you say something.  Hello, hello, already said hello.  Calling from Vehicle Services (or similar--hard to understand sounded like a 5 year old)  Asked if we were still driving __________mentioned a previous vehicle we'd had.  Asked her why I would want to give her that info???  Told me to have a nice day and hung up on me.

Signed up today for NOMOROBO which is supposed to help with the automated calls where there is no human.  Maybe this can be the next step.

Just received a call from 561-026-9755, said they were from vehicle division asked me to renew my warranty, and if i wanted to hear the options, i said no, then caller said why not, i said you would want money for that and i didn't have any then he hung up on me still laughing.

I have received a few of these calls.  Also one from 507-316-0237,  Usually no one talks, but I hear background talking.  My phone service is Charter, and I have "activated screening" into which I can add numbers I want blocked.  It's an easy process.  I am sure all of you have some version of the same service.  Yes, the calls are CREEPY!

called asked for me i said i was not home and i asked who was calling.  She said vechicle processing center and I asked vehicle processing center in NJ she said no she was in Florida  I said i don't have a car in FL    she asked if i still owned a certain car. I said no and she hung up as i was telling her to take the phone number off the list.

This phone number has shown up on our caller ID quite often.  There is never a message left.  I tried answering it recently and no one was there.  Another nuisance call!  This MUST stop!

This number calls and when I answered a woman asked for my husband.  I told her he was not available, but before I could ask if I could help her she hung up immediately.  Not the first time to call. So rude.

This number just called my house again. I don't answer. Evidently info thieves phishing for things to steal.

Caller asked for my husband by name and when I said he wasn't home, the male caller hung up suddenly. It's a little creepy.

Same here the person said he was from "vehicle services" and inquired about a vehicle and if we owned it, when I asked for him to verify what company he represented he hung up....obviously fishing for information.

Someone from this number called and asked to speak to my husband and wanted to know if we still had our previous vehicle and when we said we didn't he hung up.  If you try to call the number back it's a non working number so it has to be some kind of scam.  BEWARE

just called here - no message left. Caller ID reads "NAME NOT FOUND" - obviously spoofed - now blocked

this is the 2nd call I've gotten from "NAME NOT FOUND" but it's a different number - as in the first case, this number is a valid area code, but the NXX number (026) is invalid.

The other "NAME NOT FOUND" number is  954-186-9925 - alos a valid area code but invalid NXX
