This number 561-270-5475 has called REPEATEDLY to our office asking for our chief engineer.  We do not put sales calls through to any of our maintenance or engineering staff.  They are extremely busy.  I offered voice mail which they said yes, give me voicemail but they do not leave a message.  They are very, very aggressive and rude and we are tired of receiveing these calls.  I have explained to them on more than one occastion that they will not be able to speak to anyone here but they persist with calling.  Can they please be stopped immediately????

Called my place trying to get through to the "maintenance supervisor", I get calls like his all day long and know how to play his game. "I am with <inaudible> Electricians and have been working with him. I said "If you have been working with him, why dont you know his name?" After a few minutes of him interrogating me like I am gonna get him to his destination, he begins cussing me out and I hung up.

This time the guy said he was calling for Duke Energy! I told him I was checking the number on the net. He hung up shortly thereafter.

They always act so surprised when you call their bluff.

It's fun to question these losers about their company, since they are not prepared for it.  If you're going to run a scam, try to hire some people with at least a double digit iq.  Total idiots.

Called saying he was Mark Rodgers from Standard.
I said "Standard what?"
"Standard International"
"What do you sell?"
"Huh?"
"What is Standard International?"
"We sell lights"
I was Googling his number while we were speaking.  Basically he knew I was on to him and hung up.  I can't wait for the day when all these retards get arrested for this crap.

Called our office on Fourth of July!!!  Asked for the Maintenance Manager by name (one of our other folks must have given it to him).  Since his call was not forwarded, he claimed he was Don the Electrician who had been working on site the week before (total BS).  When our staffer asked him to wait while she checked his sotry, he said, "This woman's a c_ _ t"   When she said "WHAT DID YOU SAY?", he replied "I called you a C_ _ T!" and then hung up!  Unbelievable!!!

this D-bag just called and when i asked who he was and what company he was with, he claimed to be with a completely different company that we do business with.  I ended up transferring him to who he asked for because of this.  When my supervisor then picked up and the guy spouted off a different name and that he was with Standard...  BE CAREFUL!! they will use any and all tactics to talk to higher ups and just waste your time in general.  Their number has been added to my spam call log and I'm grateful that we have caller ID now.  it will make it much easier when they call again...

Salesman from "Standard" called and asked for the maintenence department and said he had an important quote.  Our receptionist gave him my cell number and he called me on my lunch break petending to be my long lost "brother" and wanted to send me a gift for my first order which he made up from questions he asked about our lighting.  Then said he would have someone from shipping call to verify my address.  BS

VERY VERY RUDE!

"So-&-so from Standard returning a call for a maintenance supervisor. Ah...ah..what's his name again?"

Red bull**** flags waving madly at this point.

Very rude, insistent that I transfer his call, demanding to speak to my supervisor, talking over me, etc. etc.

It's a really sorry salesman who uses intimidation to get through. That means you aren't legit.

Called back twice. Number tagged to the blacklist. Get lost losers.

We've had this happen in past years but its starting up again. I have decided to just have fun with it, can't really get into trouble as it would require this fake company to cough up some info to report me!!   They are rude, never give out full or correct company and get snippy if you won't give them a cell phone number.  The last few times I have just put the guy on hold for several ring backs until he finally got the hint.  Or I send him random places and repeat our good morning greeting x 3 every time it rings back to me.  This last time the caller ID states its in FL and the number they finally left says PA mobile number. The super important guy called today, I said our maint helper was gone, he said he was outside in a whilte van here to do work, hung up on me when I called him out on it!

Very rude person describing himself as "Steve" demanding I get his parts catolog. Then when I explained I don't handle ordering supplies he asked for a department head. I explained I don't have a department head and then he hung up. Very rude and I am 99% convinced it's a scam!

We received this call today and it is most definitely a scam artist. He was VERY MANIPULATIVE with me on the phone and had current information about the lighting system our non-profit agency uses. My clue was I had never heard of the guy or his company "Johnson Lighting," and further he said "we do all your lights and worked with you recently." We have no supplier for lights so that was my clue it was a sales call. However when he tried to divulge credit card info to "keep our account open" I realized it was not a sales call, it was a scam. I was glad to find this posting on the web which assured me I did the right thing to hang up on him when he would not tell me his call back number.

This guy is crazy and very RUDE. He is an IDIOT.  He was trying to tell me he was my electrician and that he needed the phone number of the guy who hired him.  I said I did not know of any electrical issues and then he called me an idiot for not knowing.  I get so many solicitors calls a day I knew he had NO clue who he was calling.  If you call back you only get a voice mail.

This number called my cell.  My phone alerts me when the caller is no in my "Contacts", so I sent the call to voicemail.  The caller called again immediately and I again sent the call to voicemail.  A third attempt to call me was made, but this time I just let it ring.  No message.

This is a brief description of a harrassing call I received at our business from a guy "claiming" to be an Electrican. He WAS NOT. He was very annoying and persistent!!!!!! He wanted to speak to person in shop to get a part number..........old trick.......usually for office equipment #'s.
I asked to be removed from his calling list and he asked, "what list?" He then got even more jerky, so I hung up on him several times. I told him that I was going to report him and he asked, "to who?" When he proceeded to call back, I put him on hold and left him there. He finally stopped calling. I am also filling a report with the Better Business Bureau. He was calling from a Florida area code, but when I asked the name of the company he worked for he gave me a bogus name of National Electric in Hobart, WI (no such company). When I told him that I processed all the invoices and we did not work with that company, he told me that I was just someone who answered the phone and I didn't know anything.......(little did he know).
My advice is.... if you get a call from this number just hang up and don't waste your time!!

Some man is calling all our tenants, says he is with Standard Electric and was hired to do electrical work in their office.  He was referred to us, the property managers and he called us and said all the lights are out at one of our offices, when asking which office, he said all the bathroom lights.  I told him I was in the building, he said he was there now so I said I would meet him out in the lobby.  No one was there, no lights were out and the company had no idea who or why this person is calling us and trying to get our maintenance guys phone number.....weird.

Yet another man (with a strong NY accent, may be the same guy?) called for our building manager (by name - it's on our website).  I said - he is not be available and please leave a VM and he asked for his cell phone. I said we do not give out that info and he asked me (very sternly) to 'page him'. I said we don't do that. He started sighing and saying something like "well, I need to ask him some questions about the work we are doing over there this week". So I said - sorry, he is just not available, I can get your name and number or transfer you to his VM. He said, "I just need to talk to him".  I told the man that there was no one he could talk to at the moment. He said "bulls**t!" and hung up.

This is the third person from two different numbers and companies calling in the last 6 months (repeatedly - maybe 3 times a month) asking the same questions and I have no idea HOW to get rid of them. If I hang up, they call right back. If I just transfer to VM, they call right back.

Just had a call from Steve with Johnson (561) 200-2135 asking for the maintenance manager. Well it just so happens that I'm the maintenance manager. He said Hi Tinker I'm Steve with Johnson we'd like to talk with you about getting together and going over your lighting needs. I said "I don't think that's necessary you are in area code 561 (Florida) and I'm in area code XXX (Texas) - so by the time you ship me your light bulbs I could simply walk across the street and buy them and install them before they even leave your store. No thanks" I then hung up.

I have been getting more frequent calls from these idiots.  They must get an occasional person or business to fall for their little scam otherwise they wouldn't continue to do this. It is worth the time once in awhile to drag them on like you are interested before you let them know that you are aware they are scammers just to upset them.

This rude gentleman called saying he needed to speak to our shop manager.  When I told him I don't have a shop manager, he asked who called Jamie the electrician.  I am the manager at my company and know that we don't even have an electrician with that name.  When he insisted I put him into someone's voicemail and I refused, he very abruptly hung up.  We get calls like this constantly and have asked to be removed from their lists and have also reported it and it doesn't seem to do any good.  Next time, maybe I'll just mess with his head a little and see if they call back!

Spoke with John Kelly a few times...insisted that he was the electrician and was returning a very important phone call about a project. I know our electrician by name, and this was not him. He was very insistent that he speak with the managers and that I page them now. I told him we did not even have a paging system and he all but called me a liar. We really don't. I got the owner on the phone with him and he basically told him off...we tried to call him back to speak with a supervisor, but the call went staight to his voice-mail. I really hope we never hear from these people again. They are beyond rude, and are LIARS.

This guy called claiming to be Steve and returning a call from our production manager, which he knew by first name. I asked what company he was calling from and he very smugly replied he did not own a company. I asked what the call was regarding and he replied saying he was returning the production managers phone call. I stated he was in a meeting and I would put him into voice mail. "Steve" responded by saying he would just try calling back another time. I sure hope he doesn't! This is already the 2nd phone call I have recieved from him!
