Got a call today.  They are expanding their business.  They wanted to clean our heating ducts.  Long drive however, I live in eastern Ontario, Canada

This number texted me saying they want to buy my craigslist item and they will send me a cashier's check today and just need my address.  Wouldn't answer when I called them back-- seems kinda fishy.

I am receiving a call every hour from this number and no one talks, the caller ID only says West Palm Beach Fl.I have an stalker after me I even think he is behind all this.

Learpilot, it's not your stalker...  plenty of other people have logged this number on other sites, saying something about a person calling and mentioning a collection for Florida State Troopers, or something to that nature.  They just called me but hung up as I was picking up.

I received a call from these people calling on behalf of (FAST) Florida Association of State Troopers. To my knowledge no law enforcement entity performs telephone solicitation. I just put in a complaint to the Federal Do Not Call List. Hopefully they will prosecute.

My business is called Independent News.
When I answered a call from the number in question, the guy said.."oh, wrong number".
Guess he didn't want to be my next story!

This is a scam. I live in Florida Panhandle. It was on the news that it is a group claiming to be collecting for Florida Troopers. They don't say FHP and they don't say they are with FHP. Their statements are right on that fine line of what is legal to say and what is not in order to avoid fraud or false representation charges.

They have been calling everyday. They are from the FHP (Florida Hwy Patrol) asking for our support. In an attepmt to stop the calling,I told the person that called that I was in the house cleaning up the blood splattered walls, that the actual residents got killed. I guess he didnt get it, they still call eveyday.

I got a call from this number and they said they wanted my support for state troopers I informed them I recently filed bankruptcy. After saying this the man seemed shocked and questioned me about my bankruptcy which I found suspicious. Thats why I looked up the number and found this site I think this is a scam.

I could hear talking in the back ground.  However, no message left on recorder.

This number called me. Lost signal and they said they were from state trooper or something. Glad I read these comments cause I thought they were calling about a ticket or something. Plus I called back and it went to voicemail but said the inbox was full. Seems like a scam!

I received a call from this # last night.It shows up on my caller ID as WEst PALM BEACH FL. I also live in the Central Florida area. They left no message.I tried calling back using *67 .I just says mail box full.After reading some of these posts, I'm guessing its some sorta scam.

I received a call from that 561-247-9745 they left no message. I think it may be a telemarketer.

Just got a call from that number.  he was collecting for the "Florida State Troopers" which I assume he means the Florida Highway Patrol.

I also got a call from this number and I never heard of it before, Rang 4 time no voicemail. Looked it up and stumbled onto your comment. I also live in central FL.

I got a call from this number today at 1:59pm (Aug 8).  I let the call go to voicemail and upon listening to the message I could hear a lot of people talking in the background however no one left a message.  I'm in the Central FL area.
