I had the same situation as mentioned above, so I looked around a little bit, and fund this:

"Caution, 561-270-6554 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed..."

Do not pick this number up! It is a tracking catalog database that dials numbers with this fake number to find out if people are picking the number up, and then putting you in a possible database to sell as a an available and contactable number...if someone important or worthy of a conversation with yourself is trying to contact you, they will leave a message...don't pick up numbers that YOU DON'T KNOW!

Three days in a row... Dude's need to stop...

just keep getting rung by this number-- i never pick up unknown numbers, but do wait around for a voicemail notification; this person does not leave one, which makes me strongly believe this is not someone I would want to talk to ;)

the number also starts with a 1, strong indication that this is not a cellphone number, and could likely be a VOIP call-- if that helps in tracking this person down at all...

Telemarketing, This number just called me and I came to the interenet to look for information about this number, and I found this log, when I picked up my phone, there is a recording saying "If you feel you are paying so much for.... " i did not let it go, I am not interested, but.. IS THERE ANY WAY TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING????

yep, i received the call  from this number 1-561-270-6554 but did not answer.
the call was from my Magic Jack  phone number and i never answer any call from that  phone. I have not even set it up to received voice message because i only use that phone to do my long distant call.
BTW, i love that magic jack thing as a second phone.

I recently got AT&T service so I do believe AT&T sold my cell number to these people for whatever reason. These calls are very annoying...I wish I had the time to stop it!

Oh yeah...I got MAGIC JACK, too...love the service...but maybe it is a VOIP thing..hmmm!

I get at least on ecall a day .The phone number area caode is West Palm Beach County, Florida. I tried calling it back and it is a real phone number. This has to be criminal.

just received a voice mail from this #. Its a telemarketing recorded message for Health Ins.

these are telemarketers from India!  I tracked the IP address and found out that it is a customer of www.sify.com - the same people who are picking up the phone when we call AT&T and have to speak to a person in India.  They are stealing the cell numbers from the AT&T calls that they answer, then they are selling it to telemarketers back in this country.  AT&T TAKE OUR PHONE DATABASES OUT OF INDIA AND PAKISTAN THEY ARE BOMBARDING US WITH CALLS!!!!!!!  THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE OUTSOURCE AMERICAN PRODUCTS.  BRING OUR JOBS BACK TO AMERICA!!!!!!

they have to be stopped, it is so annoying
