"tara" from dr douglas office called and left a message during our lunch break. wanted to know if we wanted to seel HCG products!! it sounded fishy and i am glad i googled the number.

I got the same call -- woke me out of a deep sleep at 12:15 a.m. This is the 3rd time. When you have college age kids, you fear the worst and don't go right back to sleep. I called the # to get off of the call list and the guy told me he didn't call and actually argued with me on the phone and wouldn't take my # to even pretend like he was going to stop the calls. He wouldn't give me his name either. If it happens again I'm filing a claim with the FCC for "harassing phone calls." You can do it online and if a few of us do it maybe they'll stop calling.

This numbskull called our office last night at 1148pm. He left a message...good news for us, he has plenty of patients in our area who are in need of the care we offer. Here's an idea Doug...lose my number..but feel free to give it to the patients who are so desperatley in need of the care we offer just because its the right thing to do.

this is the second time I got a call at night waking me up....called at 11 pm and if I catch him he will need more than mental help and he wont have to worry about gaining any more weight..

Got a call twice so far this evening after 11 pm. No one was on the line either time when I answered. This is a private residence, so I don't know why a "Dr. Douglas" would be calling me. This obviously is a mass solicitation. I have a baby who keeps getting woken up by this jerk. If he calls my home one more time, I'm reporting it to the police.

Dr. Douglas left a voice mail at 9:55pm stating he was looking to refer patients to our facility. I'm curious to know how on earth with all the other professions listed up here that he could have so many referrals for so many different professions. I agree with other posters. This has to be a scam. I am not calling this number back after reading this board. Thank you posters.

Busy guy! I just got a call from him to my private practice line (10:04 p.m.) in Maryland. Are you guys by any chance listed with Psychology Today Therapy Finder? Just signed up with them and wonder if he's blitzing their listings. Didn't leave a message.

Dr. Douglas left me a voice mail message this evening at 9:30ish on my private practice line. "Call me back ASAP because I have referrals with weight loss issues that would be perfect for your area or your facility." He does sound like a recording or salesman. Seemed very sketchy!! Glad I googled the number and found this website.

Received 2 voice-mails at our office from "Dr. Douglas" which were left in the night two-weeks apart. His greeting of "Hey Doc" "got some weight loss patients in your area I want to refer to you" sounds entirely bogus. The first call was from a female with mediocre phone etiquette & "Dr. Douglas" left the 2nd message.

Got a call at 3:59 am from "Dr. Douglas" who left a voicemail message offering up to 8 referrals to my practice, around weight loss issues. Sounded too good to be true. Did not call him back, and will not now after reading these other reports. Thanks, everyone!

Got a call at 4 am from "Dr Douglas" who said he had a referral for me and to call him back ASAP. He sounded more like a salesman than a doctor. Not going to call back after reading previous comments.
