This another scam that sounds very believable this one is out of D.C. they ask you to get a money pak so you feel like you are not being taken advantage of. The lawyer's name is Jacob Summers.

It wasn't this number, it was Eugene Edwards   561-856-0605.     He was charging $50.00.  Didn't think it was straight up from the beginning.  The phone call was to my 86 yr old mother, who was previously scammed by a company promising to buy the timeshare, after mom paid them $1000.

Just so everyone knows the guy who was suppose to bring me the checks his name is David Workman, So beware. Who ever is running this scam they must not know about this website. It is very helpful.

Today I received several phone calls from this number. I was told about a settlement from a timeshare case in Florida. The man's name is John Steven . He really tried to get me but I wasn't sure so I had my cousin check out the number. This web page came up. My cousin called me so I could see. I can't believe how some people can be. If I would have wired the money to him I would have been out of a lot of money. This guy gave me the same story that most of you wrote here,,,,,,Thank you for all your help.

Received a call from 561-294-3745 stating he had $9,000 for me for Timeshare class action lawsuit.  Told him to send me papers in this regard.  When I called this number back no one answered and the mailbox was full so could not leave a message.  Also, the phone number did not have a message when answered.

Just got a call from Chris Fulcher about my payout. He is asking me to put money in a Western Union acct but I have control over when to release the funds.  Skeptical so glad I saw this first.  Thx.

been told to go to walmart and get a money transfer. Name of this person is Steven Stien. Last week the guys name was Paul Ploser came in on # 561-572-5334

FL, USA a Steven Simmons. He was asking for another $300. I asked him for the state representatives number to  verify. He said he would. All back with the number. Haven't heard from him yet.

I was desperately in need of funds and this Gary called me at my weakest moment. I did not do my research and I fell for this scam.  I was out on the road and could not persue like I should have. Take you time and investigate. If it sounds to good to be true. It's not. He will have all the right information.

We got a call fron Gary Novak last Wednesday, he said that we were awarded $34,000 for our timeshare and we needed to wire via Western Union at the local Kroger  $985.00 for Florida state tax. We were to call him when the wire was sent and wait for a courier to arrive with two checks, the $34,000 and the $985.00.   He called the next day to inform me the checks had been returned to Wells Fargo.  He did have information like the last four digits of our credit cards, home address, and property location.  Thanks for the heads up, I hope no one has fallen for the Scam.

We got the same call today from the same person who claims to be Gary Novack by the same phone # 561-294-3745 and said he has about $8,000 to pay us as part of a timeshare settlement, but first asked us to wire over $400.00 via moneygram at a Walmart store. Upon asking this person several times who they really are and what company they represent, they insisted on not providing me with any information, and only to wire the money to them via wire transfer. A few hours later, we called that phone # and it turned out to be a cellular phone voice mail with the default outgoing message, so as not to give away their true identity. Then I went online to investigate this phone # and saw your posting, which I thank you for because now I know that we're not the only people being harrassed by this Gary Novack caller. I will inform the FBI and report this person, who's clearly scamming the public with their fraud.

Caller identifies himself as Gary Novak who claims to be working with the State of Florida to return money to people who have been a victim of time share fraud.  He says he works for All State Notary & Courier Services in Tallahassee FL and that he will send you money that the State of Florida has recovered as part of a settlement agreement.  The catch is that you have to wire him money to pay the Florida Tax on your settlement.  THIS IS A SCAM!!  Although the state of Florida has begun prosecuting some people involved in the timeshare fraud, they have not even had there first court date.  The hearings to discuss restitution will not be held for some time.  Please remember, if they ask you for money up front, it is a SCAM!!
