Received a call from 561-296-1944.  Caller id said 'West Palm Be FL'.  I've received the same calls from 561-296-1965, 561-296-1966, 561-296-1951, 561-296-1945, 561-296-1958, 561-296-1956, and 561-296-1961.

As reported by others, they are collecting for the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association, which is nothing other than an association/union for law enforcement personnel.

I called back several of the #s listed on my caller ID, when I called 296-1951, I actually got a person to gripe to.

This is a boiler room atmosphere trying to raise money for the Police Benevolent ASSociation.  I have asked to be removed, they still call DAILY- and sometimes, MULTIPLE times.  
I answered the last one- and when I said "I have no money to give you" they slammed the phone down.  
Lol- maybe THAT will stop them from calling as asking to be removed, sure didn't do a darn thing
Tell them "hang on a sec, let me get my wallet" and see how long they will hold. Hahaha

I get a call from these clowns every night, same as others have posted, hang up soon as the answering machine kicks in. They are also calling from 561-296-1944 and 561-296-1951.

yeah they called at 8:59 i answered and so did my daughter on the other phone they asked if it was me i said yes then they id them self as the police department asking for donation...my daughter then said wait at 9:00 at night isn't that against the law and click they hung up

Received call from 561-296-1944.  They ask for you by name and when you say yes, it's you, they hang up on you.  Impossible to find out who they are.  Try calling back and no one answers.  In order for them to stop, I think everyone needs to report this number as a nuisance phone call so that something can be done about it.  I, in fact, am going to keep my whistle next to the phone and next time I see on caller ID it is them, boy have I got a surprise for them.

Call with no answer. I believe that it is a robotic caller programmed to identify when people are home to target them for follow-up sales calls....or worse.

They call and hang up when I say hello.  I call back and it's a busy signal.

I returned the call to have the POLICE BENEVOLENCE solicitation answer.

This call was answered to have dead silence.
