I received a call from 561-296-1949. My caller id said 'West Palm Be FL'. As another posting above stated, it was a solicitation for the West Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association (http://pbcpba.org/). I explained that I never donate money to solicitations over the phone.

I just called palm beach PBA the solicitation dept directly and asked if this is legitimate. It is. They request donation by sending an envelope to your home. You are not asked to give card number or anything. This is fine if you want to donate to them. Not a scam

I was able to get him on redial and he was soliciting for the "Police Benevolent Society" which is a scam and I told him never to call this number again!
