Yeah, so they called my office last week,  some guy named "Anthony Roman" from "Investigations" said that he would give me a "temporary stay of action" of if I agreed to pay the full amount. I asked for it to be mailed to me (they emailed it and FYI still doesn't count) recorded me with my permission and after being told not to call me at work still called. In my state, that's a $1000 fine which costs me than the alleged debt. I dare them to call me again.

I too have gotten phone calls from this Anthony roman. He has been also calling my work. He has threatened me with legal action of felony fraud. His company name was also A.F. associates. which if you really want to get to the nitty gritty its actually called altitude funding associates and has an employee base of 2 people. He was offering for me to settle for half payment now and half later or charges were being filed.
He also said that paper work was mailed two weeks ago and I never got it. Also I had my addressed changed with the post office since January and he tells me its only good for 6 months? Yeah okay.

I got a call from this guy says his name is Zack Augustine saying he's from A N F A**. Tells me all this crap about taking me to court and they will take money from my check and all this crap. I call the so call people that I was suppose to have a balance from and all this and she told me that my account was close and gave me a number to call and same thing from this other lady. So then I call then back and this Dan man answers the phone tell me he can do me a favor to stop the summons to go to court by making a payment arrangement of 217.00 a month for 6 months for a balance of 1302.00. First of all I never new I had a debt that was unpaid, second of all who in the heck has 217.00 extra a month. Then tells me thats all he can offer me. So I came here looking for answers on what the heck just happened. He new things about me and I knew nothing of him so I decided to turn the tables. I said I just talk to an attorney and he said you shouldn't be threatening me and if I offered to pay you 25.00 a month and you turned it down and before I could say anything else he hung up on me.

This same guy just called to give me a 'notice of intent' from phone number 972-992-0990. I told him I have gov't documents stating that the IRS themselves have deposited money in the account to which he is referring and when I dropped the info about the gov't he quickly got aggressive and defensive and eventually hung up on me mid sentence. Don't believe it, he's just another dirty bill collector.

I've been getting calls from this number stating around the same things as you guys but today I received a call from a different number and a guy named Dan..but the funny thing is IT SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE "ANTHONY" seriously how dumb does this guy think people are.

I received a phone call from this number from Anthony Roman stating me to have my lawyer contact his office. he said he sent out a packet a few weeks ago and I should have received it. I never received anything from his so called company ANF Associates. I have ignored his calls after doing research and now he is calling me from another number saying the same thing. its in regards to a credit card with a balance under $300. and he said that if I don't pay it that they would put it in the data bases and they would deduct it automatically from my pay. contacted a lawyer office and she told me to ignore his calls.

So Anthony Roman first says he's with A & N associates and now its A & F associates (Altitude Funding Associates)... Anyway this guy is a wannabe gangster, you can see his mugshot in southern florida by putting in his name. F*** these goombas. Adios.

You will not be arrested. This is with Cashnet USA and most of the time they don't even have a license to practice buisness in your state and therefore the loan is illegal to begin with. I already contacted the dept of finance and my attorney general about this over a year ago, and in order to be "prosecuted" for this they have to show that you inteded to get a loan and not pay it, it is really hard to show intent. Also, it is not a bad check because at the time that they gave you the money they knew that there was not money in the account. This is a civil matter and yes they can sue but if there are  not licensed in your state (which they probably aren't) then the lawsuit probably won't even go through. Just don't take these calls.

Received a call from Mr. Anthony Roman this morning . He stated that i was going to be arrested for check fraud on a payday loan because when they tried to take the money out the account was closed. I remember that I had a loan from usa net or something like that and another loan company was taking money from my account without my concent so i had to close the account . I called these people and told them why the account was closed and ask for an adress to send the payment to and was told that they did't make any kind of arrangements and i  would need to pay in full. Didn't have the money to pay in full as i had already been scammed.I don't know much about the law but if someone has information please let me know if i will be arrested i am scared to death.

Received a harrasing message from this number from someone named Anthony Roman

Idiot get off these forums takling about he wanted to hear my side. This is an illegal dect collerctor! They use threats of lawsuits and even arrest. These people have an F rating on the BBB and I suggest you guys that are being harrassed by them call your state attorney general office.

I received a phone call .... numerous ones actually....from this number; the calls actually sounded like threats!!! The earliest they called was at 8am my time really? They do not give up and stop calling, they just continuously call and it is getting irritating, I might have to call my phone company and block the number because this is getting ridiculous!!!

I just received a call from Mr. Anthony Roman stating the same thing.  How can I report or have these people stop call me?

I also received 8/20/12 a call from a gentleman Anthony Roman, he said this was a recorded call and that his attempt to call has been confirmed and that he wanted to give me a chance to hear my side.

Received a harrasing message from this number from someone named Anthony Roman. He said if this isn't blah blah there will be a brief pause. Then he said he is calling about a debt and that he's going to give me the benefit of the doubt! Seriously, who the hell are you??? Name of the company is Altitude Funding Assoc out of Delray Beach, FL.

I've researched and found online that this company is a scam. They started in NY and after scamming hundreds of people into investing with them, they moved their racket to FLA.

Don't respond to their calls!
