Yet another scam call from a travel company wanting money from me. This time they used the name Christopher Michael Green from United Kingdom Consumer something or the other. They actually threatened us with physical harm this time!

This Michael guy from the"Consumer Assistance Bureau of Florida" has been hassling my wife for over a year concerning a trip to Florida many moons ago. I also received the "we have damning evidence and it will only take $200 to settle this lines. Everytime he calls, they are going to file a several thousand dollar law suit tomorrow. Asked for documentation several times and have never received it; do yourself a favor and hang up on him. Don't waste your time with this crook.

Got a call from Michael Greene claiming to be State of Florida agency!! On New Year's Day!! What government agency works on New Year's Day? He claims it is a contracted government agency, under Department of Corporations. The Department of Corporations only provides information on legally formed companies, so they are listed! Formed in 2009, hence he claimed no complains on BBB.

Got the same call from number 561-674-7945. It was from the State of Florida's consumer assistance Bureau. This was in regards to a hotel booking at the Sahara 7 years ago. The guy was pretty pushy. When I tried to speak he said I wasn't letting him finish. Said they were going to file a lawsuit against me for not following through with the fine print in the original agreement 7 years ago. I told him that "I took care of it via my attorney with them half a year ago." The guy was offended that I had an attorney (these guys are trying to "sue" me).

Backstory is that about half a year ago, I did get another call from a guy from the debt collectors threatening that my credit would be damaged if I did not pay the 495.00 for an optional time share. The guy that called then used the same exact script as this guy from the consumer assistance bureau. I kept on asking them to send me something via email or mail, and they said they would but never did. They kept on pushing for me to pay it off that night or by 12:00 the next day. I told him to give it to me in writing so my attorney (I do have a friend that's an attorney), and he said he would but he never did.

Never give your CC info over the phone. These are scare tactics that they are trying to get you to pay. Always ask to get it into writing.

They said they would email the agreement both times, but I have never received it.

Funny thing everyone is complaining about the Michael, well now his last name is Young or Lung.. could not quite understand it.  I also was in Florida many years ago.  He left a message today at our home in Canada and said we had until today 8 pm to call him.  He is with the State of Florida Consumer Assistance Bureau and this is International, some pretty serious evidence against us.. give us the opportunity to give our evidence.  Laughable actually.  Had a company that we traveled with many years ago try to sell us another package a couple of months ago.  We told them we were not interested and had enough credit card fraud that we were not giving out our credit card, they could send us an email or mail, nope didn't want to do that.  We said no, not interested.  Now they figure we did not go on a trip!  Hahahaha.  Nice.  They can keep it and they won't be intimidating me into paying them one red cent.  Same guy as everyone else is complaining about.
