called it back.  E Diabetic Care.com   I am diabetic so they may have gotten my name from some site, not sure.

The company wanted to send me a glucometer, free. I asked them to remove my name and number.  I also told the that I had just gotten a brand new eter through my doctor, AND to not call me aymore.

Received a call from 561-692-4140. No answer when I picked up. Reverse caller ID shows it originated in Belle Glade, FL. I will block this number from calling again.

Company calls repeatedly wanting to switch my med insurance so they can send me new blood meter and outrageously bill medicare for the junk they send.

I believe it is an attempt to get permission to bill MediCare for a new blood meter and monthly for test strips.

Thank you all so much for your input.  These calls are really getting annoying but I am not answering now that I know what it is all about.

Not sure but this number keeps calling and since I do not know the number or area code I do not pick up. Not comfortable and glad I googled it.

I got a call earlier from this number. As usual, no message was left. I did something I don't usually do (if I get a call and no message is left). I called the number back. The greeting I go was "thank you for calling ediabeticcare.com". The call was then terminated.

Incomming call from 561-692-4140 identified as Florida on caller ID.  Caller did not identify themselves and was asking for my wife.  Told them she was sleeping and they said they would call back later... Our number is listed on the do not call list but these crazy calls come thru anyway.

I have ask them 4 times to quit calling. They stop, then a week or two later they start again. These people are nuts.

I would not give out ANY information to people that you don't know.  With all the scams that are going on out there you have to be VERY careful.

I blocked them from calling my number under my Uverse account.  LOVE that feature!

Constantly calling - have answered a couple of times - told them I am not interested in whatever they are selling - told them to take me off their calling list - still calling several times a day.  Refuse to answer any longer.  Please someone - get them off our phone!!!!

These are calls from eDiabetic Care.  I think the reason that they hang up is because they are robo-calls, so they don't recognize that you answered if you only say hello one time.  If you say hello twice, a person will pick up and try to sell you diabetic supplies.  I learned to just say hello once when answering an unknown number.
As suggested by "Woman in No Cal"  I make it a point to call the number back 5 times each time I am called.  There is a short message....something like "thank you for calling eDiabetic Care, please hold for a representitive"  then someone picks up right away.  I  let them say their intro...sometimes they even use my name when they answer....then I pause for a few seconds and hang up. Then call right back.  If everyone who gets a call makes 5 more return calls with hangups, then paying operators will become a waste of time.

I have been getting a call from this # for the last mounth. I real kikker is that thay called @ 6:52 am it is a little early to  be calling any one in the Morring that is.

Keep getting calls about diabetic meters from this number and have told them repeatedly not to call, but they continue to do so.

I rec. the exact same call as you. But, they did not get my med. care #. If they call again I will get all the information that I can from them..I know it may be all false but I'll try. Then I will report it to the police or the powers that be
