This number called telling me about a modeling job and asked for my mom and they knew my name and how old I was

I've read some of the comments saying that the people calling from this number 561-705-8697 saying that people owe taxes in the US, why the heck are they calling me, I live in Canada, and I never went to the US in my life.

We received a message from some guy saying they will visit my husbands place of  business if we don't call back. seems like debt collectors

Yep. It's timeshare-travel-company from when I filled out form to win something at Bass Pro back during Christmas.

Don't know how they got my PRIVATE number since I have no problems with taxes or IRS.

I have been getting it everyday now.  I called it back from my office line.  the VM says "You have reached Vacation Tour and Travel Marketing Group"

Vacation Tour it said on Caller id.  I did not answer, and no message was left.

I answered this call and they asked for my dad and i said no this is his daughter. They said sorry and it went quiet. Eventually i got the beep which means they hung up. It was very confusing

My husband filled out one of those things at BassProShop about a month ago. He's been getting phone calls from this number.

The only contest I have entered my name in for the past year is Publishers Clearing House????? I wonder?

Said with employment agency D&P Positioning.  Said replied to online survey. Did not ask for any certain person but asked for personal info. Name, Date of birth. He was fishing?  I did not give any info and asked him questions.  He was flustered and I hung up and shut my phone off.  Blocked it!  Baco Ratan, Fl calling to rip me off some how.  FISHING!!!!!

Respect ended when they decided to call my home without permission.
I NEVER authorized them to contact me or my family in any way. I didn't fill out the cards mentioned by others, I didn't call them for any reason at any time until AFTER they started CONSTANTLY calling me.

They have been calling my house at least three times a week for the last TWO YEARS. I have repeatedly called them back, opting via their recording to "be placed on the DO NOT CALL list". I have also had to repeatedly call and contact their agents to cease calls because they still hadn't taken my number off the list even after 3 months!!!
Now here it is, 2 years later, and they are STILL calling!!!
I just called their MAIN OFFICE in Arkansas. They have been informed that if they call even one more time, I WILL notify the FCC and I will also bring the courts in and sue the crap out of them for harassment and violation of privacy, not to mention failure to cease and desist after at least 6 requests to stop calling.

I have had the same phone number for almost 10 years, and it went on the registry immediately when the registry was started.
According to the DNC registry, each unauthorized call warrants a $10,000 fine. If they call a number multiple times, they won't get just one fine for all calls to that number... they're facing ONE FINE PER CALL MADE. So if they call my number 5 times, that's $50,000 in fines.

These people think they can get away with calling people all of the time.
They didn't count on people like me that fight back against telemarketers and other idiots that have nothing better to do than to harass people.

"They're just trying to make a living"? I can make a living doing PLENTY without harassing others at home. There's no rule that says they HAVE to do THAT job... There ARE other jobs that are respectful and don't invade people's privacy.

When they are calling you when you HAVEN'T filled one out, they they are breaking the law.

They are ALSO in clear violation of the law if told by the person they continuously call to CEASE AND DESIST calling them.

I've advised them that if they call me again (after having requested being removed both via recorded instructions AND direct conversation with agent more than 3 times in 1.5-2 years), I WILL not only report them to the registry and FCC, but I will ALSO bring charges against their company of harassment, as they have been calling almost daily for almost 2 years, even after being told to stop.

They can legally call you.  The contest form that you filled out gives them permission.  Read the fine print next time before you sign.

Vacation Tour and Travel is the company.  They work for Blue Green Resorts, time shares sold by Bass Pro Shops.  You probably filled out a contest form to win a new truck.  

Call the number back, wait 24 seconds and press 1.  Leave your name and number requesting to be removed from their call list.  Regardless if you're on the DNC list or not, you voluntarily opted in with the contest form (read the fine print.)

as irritating as it is, I understand they're just trying to make a living.  Tell them to stop calling, but be respectful.

If you call the number back and wait about 24 seconds, you'll get a greeting.  You can press 1 to leave your name and number to request to be removed from the call list.  I did this two times over the past 5 days.  

Yesterday they called again.  There was a very nice woman on the other end who said she would remove my name from the list and manually find out why they hadn't removed it prior, since I've left voice mails.  I was shocked at how nice this person was and she seemed honest.  

We'll see what happens from here.

I wanna know the name

My wife and I were killing time wandering the Bass Pro Shop in Denver, and thought, hmm, contest to win a free stuff.  Well we were grabbed by the lady behind the counter, she talked our ear off, told her we couldn't afford it, etc...  Now they are calling, not leaving a message, some lady saying Hello!.... Hello....  Hellooooo.. singing to whatever radio song is on in the background then hangs up.  I have the VM file for any interested...  Just say why you are calling,....

These calls are from Blue Green Resorts.  You probabaly filled out a sweepstakes card at Bass Pro Shops to win a truck, like I did.  They've been calling me for 2 years now.  I've told them time and time again to not call and remove my number from the list.  

They are wanting to give you a free 2-3 day stay at their resort as long as you sit and listen to a salesman for 3 hours trying to get you to buy a timeshare.

Vacation Tour and Travel, prt of Blue Green Resorts.  These people are the ones who handle the "free vacation" stuff at Bass Pro Shops.  A few years ago I filled out a contest thing to win a truck at their store.  Now they won't stop calling me.  They claim to give you a free stay at one of their resorts and try to sell you a time share.  It's quite annoying.

Get multi calls daily - like everyone else there is never anyone there if I answer; if I do not answer there is never a message.  How do you contact them?  My number is on the do not call list.

Its a time share.  You have entered your number on some form at bass pro.  Just answer the phone and tell them to remove your number.  Be happy they have a job and are not bilking us hard working people out of the government welfare program that so many miserable low life's have
