I received a call today from the same guy Neil Schnellenburg this morning. 561-705-8707. I got the same story. He doesnt offer this chance to just anyone. He was heading into court to file criminal charges. My lawyer called him and he refused to talk to them. I think he found my info on facebook because he called me at work and asked for me by my maiden name which I havent used in 12 years. He had ALL of my personal information and told me my SS# date of birth and where I worked. He also told me he was looking at my credit report and was reading my personal stuff to me. Said I was looking at 3 felonies if I didn't pay him $1400 with in 1 hour. Freaked me out. I called back and got the address of the place he was supposively calling from and it doesnt exist on google. Neither does the attornys office Morgan Myers and Robinson. He almost had me until the I called the local police and they had me call the FBI to report this.

I called and talked to this Neal guy. Real nice guy until you start questioning him and the legitimacy of the claim. He had almost all of my records (probably from an old account or application), but could not state anything about current information. He stated that he pulled my background check, and found that I was a hard working guy and that he doesn't call just anyone. He wanted to make sure I had a fighting chance to get it settled before it became a criminal felony charge. I said thank you but I need to verify the validity of his claim. He got bent out of shape and gave me 35 minutes to call back. Mind you that he already said he had to be in court in a few minutes (and I was on the phone with him already 15).

So I called my attorney's office and told them everything he said. They said that he was probably hired to collect a debt whether real or fictional. He used a scare tactic that can't be used. She used the term that there are no "debt prisons" and that if its a real claim, wait until they call back and get them to send a copy of the debt, from beginning to end. verify it, and pay it.

I also read that the Statute of Limitations in this case should of already lapsed.

This was is no BS, I did actually call my attorney.

I got a call from a friend who got a call from this guy. Saying that if I don't return his call TODAY, I will have a federal warrant for my arrest issued. Luckily I have a lawyer on retainer and I will call as soon as they open this morning. I will post what they say. I will also try and get them to confirm if this is a legit investigator

It was a Neal Shalenberger a Fraud investigator he said on the message I thinking debt collector
