Pinger is junk and calls my cell phone in the middle of the night just saying it is pinger and to hang up before the voice does. How you could work for a scam company is beyond me. Pinger is garbage with no way to get on their do not call list.

Hi Guys,
I'm the Tara that Ross mentioned above. I work at Pinger.
We've had a few reports, all with the same 11-digit number.
If you take away the extra digit, that number is assigned to one of our users. However, Textfree (our service) does NOT yet offer voice calling, so there is no way the user is calling you from Textfree.
We are fairly certain someone is using that phone number for caller ID "spoofing". That's when someone disguises their own number and makes a call showing a different number. We're especially suspicious of this because the number you are seeing on your Caller ID has an extra digit (it's 11 digits instead of the typical 10).

We'd really LOVE to help, but the call is not being generated by us or through our product, so we're stuck here--as any carrier would be. It might be worth a call to YOUR carrier to see if they can block this number from calling you?

I narrowed it down to the company "pinger.com" they are out of San Jose,Ca. They offer texting and whatnot for iPhones and iPads. Shoot them an email explaining it, a chick named Tara us helping me out. Good luck!!
