I got a call from "Robert" from "IAA" for my boss (asked for "Mike" when NOBODY calls him Mike.  First tip off that it was a solicitor...).  I asked him what IAA stood for, and he said International Asset Advisor.  I put him on hold for a couple minutes while looking up his number on this site. THEN, I got back to him and told him my boss would like me to take a message. He said he'd call back and hung up.  My experience is that if I had told him from the start that my boss wasn't in the office, he would have rudely hung up.  I recognize his voice as a rude solicitor I've spoken with before. I would have to have my head examined if I'd put an a** like him through to my boss...

Called here everyday for a week.  Same bs. has business to discuss with the owner. Hangs up before you get to mess with him.  Call the office and they will remove you from the call list.   Turns out they are from Boca Raton which is a financial sleaze incubator.

Someone claiming to be "Greg" called for our president.....said his company name was IAF.  I asked what it was in reference too....he gave a name of someone I have never heard of and then rudely said....He is aware......yeah, my president was not aware and also...I am not stupid.  Asked to take a message and he immediately hung up.

Telemarketer called, he stated my name; in a
sing song style, he repeated my name and hung up the phone.

falsely represented himself as someone doing business with our companies owner aka my step father...um, no i told him that 's my dad and he doesn't have anything to do with CBG and then i finally hung up

Just called the number back and complained. Doug, the person in customer complaints ( who actually was very professional) apologized for the rudeness of Robert Boudein (not sure of spelling of rude solicitor  who called twice in a row)...Anyway Doug said he would put our phone number on do not call list...and will look up his rude employee and handle his end.

We get calls from the same guy that talks fast-asks for our president and says "Paul Please" (as if he's his buddy or something). When we say he's not in may we take a message, he hangs up.  EVERY time.
Annoying!

Looks like these crooks had to change their number to get people to answer.  Look up their old # (561) 989-9809, same story.  How does scum like this stay in business?

A person named Tarik called me looking for my father at his private practice. I said which doctor are you looking for as both my parents work in the same office. He said my mother's name and claimed he spoke to "Him", ridiculous. Then I said well that is my mother not my father. Then he kept pushing and I asked may I take a message. He proceeded to ask, is he with a patient? I replied that he will not take calls unless he is told what it is regarding. Then he rudely just said, tell your dad my name, and I said can I take your number so he can call you back. He said no, he knows me. Then after hanging up the phone I thought, what a liar, he asked for my dad with my mom's name at first before I corrected him so how could he have possibly spoken with my father.

I just got a call from a gentlemen who has called numerous times, this time he identified himself as
Dan Oback with CBG, he keeps asking for my boss, when I tell him he is not in, which he really is not in.
He states what is the best time to call him, when I ask him what kind of company CBG is, he is real evasive.
I finally told him that he still has to come through me to talk to my boss, his response was he looks forward to
talking to me next time.

Received a call from 561-900-9380.  When I answered with my normal greeting, I was told, call you back Heather and then he hung up.   Same scam-different day.

Some guy named ED calls from this number asking for the Owner by name.  When I ask what it is regarding he says "it's Ed from CBG reguarding his Mitrol Valve Regurgitation"... when I said "the owner doesn't have that condition." he said "I know, I just need to speak to him about it."  when I said "he's a very busy man and doesn't have time for games" he said "whatever, I'll just call back when you aren't there."... and then I hung up on him.  You go through ME first ...ALWAYS.  I'm the first, last and only line of defense against these scum and I will never allow this number thru.  Try a different scam jack***es.

jerk cant get through to the boss so he keeps calling and punching a number key to harass.

I got a call from some rude guy this afternoon, asking for the owner (first name). When I told him that he doesn't come to this office but a couple times a month, he told me a was lying. So I laugh under my breath and said that it wasn't a lie that he doesn't work from this office but a couple of times a month (which is true) he then tells me I am lying again. After I ask who is calling he says, "You know what this is. This is a conspiracy" and then hung up. I had a really great laugh after that. These people are hoping to get a rise out of people and all it is doing is making the people at our company laugh at their ignorance.

They keep calling and asking for my boss and I tell them is is not available.  They will not leave a message for him, they just say they will call back at a better time.  They call at least 2 times a week and I wish they would get the message .....that we are not interested!!!!

"Dan" called for one top executive and not 5 mins later he calls for another executive saying he's doing business with him and needs to talk to him.... I LOVE to messing with these people.  They have PLAGUED my business life for over 20 years. So when I have the time, I will sit on the phone with them asking every question there is to irritate them till they hang up.  Outside of this I WISH I could tell you how we deal with all of them, but if I did it would blow my 20+ year cover to them.

Got a call from this number several times.  always asks for the owner, using his nickname (shortened name) rather than the way it is listed with the company.  Knowing it is a sales call, I either say he is busy or out of the office.  He then tells me he was trying to call his cell phone but must have written the work number down instead.  He asks for his cell phone number which I always tell him that I am not allowed to give out his number.  I promptly get hung up on.  I think it is time to call them.

There was one time where a super rude and ugly man got mad because I was asking questions. My bosses actually let them send a representative here (purely to pretty much prove CBG is a fake). When my bosses asked what they do all the lady could say was 'lots of things' and when my bosses asked her to show them she said she would go run to her car to get some of the paperwork explaining and she left and didn't come back.

It is an Indian man with a very strong accent that tends to always call from this number. He is always super rude. Demanding I forward his call to my boss (whose first and last name he somehow knows). When I ask what the call is regarding he avoids it by demanding 'forward my call to him', 'is he available or not', or straight up 'business with CVG/CBG'. He then gets angry that I am asking questions says 'I'll try again later' and hangs up on me. I'm going to definitely say something to him next time as this is at least the 6th time he has called just to be rude and so damn sketchy!

After your move, the number was probably sold through AT&T, or your phone carrier.  They do it to us EVERYTIME.

561-900-9380 called and asked for the owner of the company, would not leave a message, then said the key magic phrase: "I'll just call back at a better time."  

DO NOT reply to that phrase in any way that might be discerned as an affirmative... don't even say; "uh huh."
Just do NOT reply to that comment.  Telemarketers use it as permission to call you back... like inviting a vampire across your threshold.

Had a call, they asked for "Fred". I asked which Fred, as we have two, one an owner, one a PM. He hung up on me. They don't call me the Gatekeeper for nothing...

Some guy called my boss, he transferred the guy to me after this guy asked him for personal information (ssn).  I asked the caller what this was about and he said he had already f***ing explained it to my boss and why are we wasting his GD time and hung up.  I called the number displayed on our caller id and filed a complaint with Tyler in their Compliance Department.  Has this idiot never heard of caller Id or does he just not care?

Same problem as all the others that CBG is calling..they call at least once a week....typical is _____ (owner) in, first name basis as if they know him personally....on the latest call, someone else in our office took the call as I was on another call...when I picked up the line for our boss, the IDIOT once again asked for the owner by first name...when I asked who was calling, he informed me that he had already given his name...I informed him that I was the secretary and not the first person he spoke with....he then got really mad and said we are such an unorganized company that we can't keep up with who's calling...I just had to laugh at this idiot...him being the one that sits around calling the "unorganized" companies like ours, wanting our money...little did he know, by him being an A__...he gave me enough time to copy the phone number from caller ID.....I called, spoke with whomever answered, asked that we be REMOVED from the call list, and if it happens again, I will file a legal complaint against the company

Just for the record.  I got a call from this number.  When I answered the phone they hung up on me.  That's fine with me.  At least I can laugh, knowing that some company is paying this telemarketer to make calls and not even try to get a new customer for them.  Lazy
