got a call from this number. I answered and said "hello" twice. then the call was ended.

Company called and said they were calling about my 2009 mazda.  They said they were the warranty intake provider for mazda.  I pressed them and asked them the name of the company but they kept repeating that.  I asked them if they were Mazda and they said they were the warranty intake provider.

I stated I didn't have a warranty and they said "ok" and hung up.

On December 5, 2013, I received a call from 561-948-6005 at 1:00 pm.  The caller did not leave a message and I did not answer the phone.  My caller ID said, "Out of area."  Since I did recognize the number I figured it was a telemarketing call.   I'll report the call on donotcall.gov.

Just received a call from a supposed auto warranty company about my Lexus.  I know these scammers from Vehicle Processing Company as they keep sending "official looking" letters telling me that my warrenty is about to expire and that they can extend it.  However when I bought the car at the end of the lease I also purchased a Lexus extended warranty from the dealer that is still in effect, but these nuckle heads are looking to scam vulnerable consumers with their mostly worthless warranties.  I told him that he was violating my "no call" registration and that I was reporting him to the FTC and FL Consumers Bureau so he hung up on me.  Just what I would expect from a scammer.

2:36 Saturday PM on 8-24-13. Picked up the phone and no one responded so I said "Speak up No Name, what do you want wise guy?" They hung up, I guess I insulted him!

I got the UNKNOWN caller too.  I DO NOT own / never owned a Honda so dont feel you are getting these calls for that reason.  I am considering getting the Digitone ( $100) because you can block series of number  (855-*) leaving room for these individual annoying calls.  I and also fed up with these calls. The DO NOT CALL list are a joke.

Got a call from this number. Asked for me by my correct name and then when I didn't pick-up,  left a rather silly sounding voice message.

I have been getting calls and letters ,they are either trying to get me to get more warranty or wanting me to trade in my vehicle for another. I am not interested and want them to stop calling me. I have only had this vehicle a short while. It makes me wish I never bought a vehicle from the Honda place. I am fed up with the harrasing phone calls.

Since we receive many telemarketer-unwanted calls, even though we're on both the state and federal "Do Not Call Lists" this number came up as "Unknown Calle;r" so, I waited for someone to speak.  The caller did not leave a voice mail message.  I did buy a car a short while ago in Delay; so, I'm not surprised that someone's trying to sell an "extended warranty."

These scam artists, calling themselves the Vehicle Processing Department, claim they are representing "American Honda" about "extending my factory warranty" on my Honda Element.  American Honda customer service says no such third parties sell warranties or service contracts on their behalf.  American Honda says independent  Honda dealers may be selling their customers' information or former customer's names to these third-party characters.  If so, vehicle owners have no direct business relationship with the so-called Vehicle Processing Department and they are the telemarketers are in violation of federal and state Do-Not-Call laws and are misrepresenting themselves as being associated with a vehicle manufacturer.   The upshot is those terrorist telemarketers are still pestering people in violation of state and federal laws. Oh:  I actually traded in the Honda Element about 1.5 years ago, although we still own another Honda vehicle.  But look out in case you still own the vehicle they are calling you about.  Warning: Even real third-party service contractors have limited coverage with a lot of fine-print exceptions.  It's not a factory warranty and if the third-party contractor goes out of business, you are out of luck.
