COMPUTER GENERATED POLITICAL CALL FROM BARRY GOLDWATER, JR.  GET REALLY SICK OF THESE POLITICAL CALLS ALL THE TIME!!!

I get this call two -three times per day ..

They Called 3 times today in a span of 30 minutes.
Name Display says Florida.  Message(s) state that name was drawn at their kiosk and trip to Cancun has been won... Never entered a draw at any kiosk

My guess = scam!

CALLER ASKED ABOUT MY COMPANY NEW MY NAME ETC. ASK IF WE MADE BUSNISS CARDS WHEN I TOLD HIM NO WE ARE A MACHINE SHOP HE STARTED ASKING IF WE WERE INTTERNATIONL, LOCAL, HOW LARGE, I STOPPED HIM AND ASKED WHO HE WAS AND HUNG UP ON ME. HAD STRONG AFRICAN-AMERICAN ACCENT

I am just noting that I received a call from this number today.

I am currently getting about 1 call a day from scam artists and I am starting to notice a pattern.  It seems that I get a bunch of calls (5-10) over a 1-2 week period from the same number and then they stop.  Then I get a bunch of calls over the next 1-2 week period from a NEW number; they those calls stop.  Then I get a bunch of new calls from yet another number.  And the pattern continues...

I think it's the SAME scam artist calling, and that he's just changing out the spoofed number on a 1-2 week basis.

Has anybody else, who's received a call from the above number, also received calls from the following numbers in the past several weeks (Fall 2008)?

1-800-222-1111 (spoofed) in mid to late October
1-603-656-4565 in mid November (caller ID shows "New Hampshire" for me)
Number Blocked in late November 2008; (*57 trace fails for these calls...)

I have received approximately 10 calls from each of these numbers in the past 6 weeks.

Received call from this number... nothing but dead air... believe it was set up to detect answering machine and leave pre-recorded message on a machine...

They claim to be a lending institution for people with credit problems. They claim that they have been referred to you from Dunn and Bradstreet. They claim that they are notified that your business is in financial trouble from credit reporting companies. They claim that your "credit score" has been lowered because of "bad debt".
They won't divulge any information on who actually provides all this information and they won't admit to personally running an "illegal credit check" on you or your business. If you question them too much...they hang up.
Bunch of bottom feeder scammers!!!

I also am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. This is the second time I have been called by this number. And, I don't have a mortgage ANYWHERE.

received call from the supporters of Ron Paul. They left a long pre-recorded message on my machine but in order for them to quit calling one would have to catch the call when it comes in.

I AM ON THE FEDERAL DO NOT CALL WHEN WILL THESE BABOONS LEARN THE MEANING OF DO NOT CALL?

got a recorded call from them when i was home sick (sore throat)
when i talked to their rep to ask to be put on the no call list they were
extreamly rude

when I was told to dial one to connect to a travel consultant, I got dead air.................hung up and googled the number. Got this forum.

Pretty much the same as above, no one at the other end, just silence.  If it is a Florida number, why are they calling Canada?

Got a call from this number but they said nothing. I waited about 30 sec then they hung up.

Nothing but silence, waited on the line for several minutes, still nothing, so I hung up.

Junk call - just got the last part of the message where "time is running out" and call an 800 number. Probably scammers again.
