the caller is police athletic league its a charity call out of florida.

Called at 5:30 PM.  Left no message.  Identified as unknown caller.  I tried to call back to see who it was and a woman voice stated, call unable to go through. Call back again.

i just received a call from this number?
and of course they leave no information
the called id shows PAL
is this true or no?

I just got the call from this # 561-948-8084 did not get to it in time. The caller ID said police athletic ? I tryed to call it and said number not in service THEN HOW DID THEY CALL ME????? WTF................

This idiot called asking for my wife by name . I could barely hear this clown , so I asked this fool the question who several times . He finally spoke a little louder and yelled her name and I yelled back and said she is not here . I asked this gnat bread his name and the peter cheese said Gene . I then yelled at this worthless excuse for a human that she is not here and hung up the phone . I tried to call the number back and got no answer and called it again and it was out of service !

Got a call at 8.00 pm.
I did not pick-up the phone.

Just faxed the FCC my complaint. Got the form on line...

Telemarketers calling on the behalf of charities like to "thank you" for donating in the past - when you never donated before.  

They think by claiming you donated in the past - they can generate a donation on the current call.

My phone number is "unlisted." Not in the phone book.

Got a call from this number on my unlisted private phone. Asked for my husband. Wanted to "thank him." Would not identify themselves. Rudely told me to forget it and hung up.

I just got my house number 2 weeks ago through the cable company; every night at 6 on the dot, they call.  They never leave a message; so I did a little googling and found the PAL.  I called them (the Police Athletic League) and said "So who do I talk to about getting you guys to stop calling my number every night.." I spoke with "Mike" a director who took my house number and my name and promised me the calls would stop; he was very nice and was assuring that he'd get it taken care of.  It's an automated dialer, so it'll take a day or two; but he said that if they continued to please call him again.  I suggest if you don't want them calling you give them a call; they solicit for donations for the Police Athletic League... IT SHOULD BE A LAW FOR THESE PEOPLE HARRASSING PEOPLE ALL DOING THE DAY AND AT NIGHT AND AFTER MIDNITE. WHEN EVER YOU CAN'T CALL THEM BACK CAUSE THE MESSAGES AYS NUMBER NO LNGER IN SERVICE, WHAT A HORRIFYING JOKE THAT'S NOT FUNNY!! SOMETHING HAS GOT TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS!!!! they call me today and they said something about a donation

they called me today and I answered it and said hello, I waited like 5 seconds and then hung up, but when I tried to re dial it, it said that this customer is no longer in service, so is this the police or a telemarketer??

I have a personal question for you.... this number called me today and I answered and said hello..... then I waited like 5 seconds and hung up. I tried to call the number back but it said the customer is not in service...... so do you like owe anything on a car payment, because I am serious behind on my car payments and hiding the vehicle until I can get caught up and now Im scared!

They are calling random numbers in the phone book, the fellow who asked for me sounds like he's Russian. I'd be careful with these people, likely impersonators running a scam.. He would not identify him self except said his name was Manuel.. There's ain't no Manual's in Russia..

When I picked up the phone there was no answer and no dial tone.

They hung up when answering machine picked up.

Now my caller ID is showing an organisation name

This number just called to solicit for the Florida State Troopers out of Tallahassee, FL, but this is not a Tallahassee area code. When I asked to be removed from their calling list, they wouldn't respond...very rude.

Missed twice a call from the number. Both times no message was left.
