561-953-4528 calls daily and more then once a day.  He is looking for someone who is not here.  Second time he called today, after he was told who is looking for isn't here, I answered and told him that once again - the person wasn't here and I know he was told this earlier this morning.  I was told to "lose the attitude". Hoping he calls here again...really

Doug Adams, Williams, Babbit & Weisman, Inc 5255 North Federal highway, Third Floor, Boca Raton, Florida, 33487 561-241-7301 800-749-9990 continues to call about 6-10 times a day, email about 5 times a day and fax 2 times a day,  when I do answer he talks to me like I am an idiot, when I try to explain the law of Texas Harassment to him he laughs at me.  He calls my husband about the same on a daily basis.  It has gone way past harassment, He is threatening me and my family with all sorts of things.  Texas State Law says Harassment and Fraud are Prohibited State law prohibits the use of harassment and abusive collection tactics. It is illegal for any debt collector to:

threaten violence or other criminal acts;
use profane or obscene language;
falsely accuse the consumer of fraud or other crimes;
threaten arrest of the consumer, or repossession or other seizure of property without proper court proceedings;
use the telephone to harass debtors by calling anonymously or making repeated or continuous calls;
make collect telephone calls without disclosing the true name of the caller before the charges are accepted.

The use of fraudulent or deceptive practices is also prohibited, including:
using a false name or identification;
misrepresenting the amount of the debt or its judicial status;
sending documents to a debtor that falsely appear to be from a court or other official agency;
failing to identify who holds the debt;
misrepresenting the nature of the services rendered by the collection agency or the collector;
falsely representing that the collector has information or something of value in order to discover information about the consumer.

He says I am going to be arrested, my home taken and my business shut down if I do not comply with his phone calls.  The company I owe has NEVER called me, so I asked an attorney about this and she said that he was probably up to fraud since the actual company has not contacted me.  I am sending him a cease and desist letter and sending one to the Texas Attorney General also.

This guy keeps calling me trying to collect debt from my brother.  I told him that I will not give him my brother's contact info.  If he has my brother contact info he why not contact him directly.  I told him that I would not help him.  He said that would keep calling me every 10 minutes until I do.  He's been calling me on an off for the past 4 months with the same attitude and harassing me.  I'm considering filing a police report and getting my lawyers involved.

Some IDIOT keeps calling from this number looking for my ex... I have explained that he is my ex and I dont have any info.. KEEPS CALLING, HARRASSING... Name Calling!!!
