Not one person has said why this is a scam. I've read all three pages and the picture I'm getting is that this company buys time on CNBC and some other networks late at night, and charges companies to be on a business show with Trumps kid or whatever. Obviously it costs money to video the company and buy the time on the networks, no??? So, I'm confused.  Where exactly is the scam? I mean, most companies buy or make a product/service and mark it up, right? It's called "profit" for those of you who don't know where your paycheck comes from.  So, again, where's the scam?

I have ZERO dogs in this fight on either side, HOWEVER, just perusing these complaints I consider these claims of "it's a scam" complete defamation and/or slander. If someone calls me with a legitimate business proposition, I do my homework, weigh the pros and cons and then make an informed decision, OR if I'm busy, I simply say "no thanks" or "call back at another time".  Calling something "a scam" just because you a. can't afford it or b. just aren't interested is more irresponsible than I can imagine - and legally libelous! Seriously, If this were my company I'd have half of these nuts on here under subpoena - and they'd be paying me and my employees for their reckless and erroneous behavior. The Internet age has revealed a really ugly & hateful side of some people.

Got a call from "Robert Jones" (really? couldn't come up with a better pseudonym?) - extremely pushy sales pitch, saying he wanted me to pull up my bosses calendar and schedule a call. Began giving me his schpeel about FoxBusiness - started sounding sketchy, plus he told me where their offices are, it's an area I used to live in that is full of run down strip malls. Did a quick search and realized what I was dealing with and hung up on him mid sentence.

Just had a call from a very rude "Mitch Rothman" representing Donald Trump? Immediately wanted to be connected to our CEO as if it was a mis-routed call, which it wasn't because he called in on a grouped line. Pretty hilarious and unbelievable back story. Very very rude person, don't bother calling back. Telemarketing scam about TV advertising.

It is easy to post on here anonymously.  Any person can put a first name and post a negative reply.  "Joe called me today and let me tell you how rude he was" posted by Bobby. They are such a scam" posted by Sally.  For those that take the time to understand the service that is provided, it is not a scam. It is a business, marketing & promotion opportunity.  How can, receiving professional B-Roll footage to re-purpose, a Demo DVD outlining your company, along with other marketing materials and to top it off air time on CNBC, Fox Business Network and Bloomberg International Television, be a scam?  What is a scam is all of the negative comments on here being passed off as real.

Someone in the Know...oftentimes, the PR or communications person acts as a gatekeeper. While the CEO may see the big picture, so does the marketing/PR person. That's part of their job. And it's also their job to keep the CEO from falling for scams. So when you say "why would anyone waste their time" talking to the PR/marketing person, you're making this look MORE like a scam. When someone says they have to run it by other people, that could be because they want to do their due diligence first. They may have the ability to make those decisions, but something you've said has raised a red flag.

They are just burning up the line at my workplace this morning, calling back again and again. I know it's them on the caller ID so I'm just letting it ring and not picking up. Not the first time this has happened. They're pests.

Hey, someone who knows--I think you are the one that is confused.  First of all, this is paid programming in remnant time, meaning, viewership is very low.  Secondly, their value-adds are not worth anything.  Delivering 200,000 display ads over 1 - 2 mths? That's worth about $750 based on regular CPM and ROS.  Then there is a video and a press release that promises no pick-up.  This is worth zero.  So, I think you need to add the word "nothing" to the end of your name.  This is not a good deal, unless you have ancillary funds to spend.

The reason for the need to speak to the President is for a few reasons. 1 - Because as the corporate leader they are able to see the big picture of where the company is headed and has been appointed to take them there.  Mostly it is the President or CEO that is featured.
2 - PR or Corp Communications people in 99% of the companies, they do not have the ability to authorize the companies appearance.  They have to run it by several people.  So why would anybody waste their time with them?

Hey Canada, I find it very difficult to believe that the CEO of a company would really take the time to respond on here but I will take your word for it.  I do however suggest getting your ears checked.  Price would have been more like 14k.  And believe me also when I say this, no legitimate TV or other media outlet would feature your company and provide you with an opportunity to talk about the services you provide.  They are in it for ratings to sell commercials because they are focused on the consumer.  The program is business to business.  21st Century Business has guaranteed airings on FBN, CNBC and Bloomberg. Yes as paid programming but if you can name a media outlet that will provide a forum for you to discuss your company and on top of the airings provide you with a extensive marketing collateral than you will know a lot more than me and I have been in this business for quite a while.

Dave, get your facts straight, yes formerly hosted by A-listers such as Schwartzkopf, Haig and Weinberger. All were very proud of the work that they had done on our show. They all ended their relationships with the program for various reasons. Two of them for failing health and the other, since he has been on the go for so many years, to spend some of his twilight years with his wife and family.  All have since passed away.  There really isnt a need for an A-list host if you have a quality program such as this.  Airing successfully since 1995, A rating by BBB, Nothing listed against the program on rip-off report but some of the other programs are.  I suggest if you are anyone of importance in your company, take the time to find out how your company could benefit from the exposure and collateral materials that are provided that all greatly outweigh the small cost.  To answer your question about the selling of the airtime, why would they run re-runs of their content when they could make more money selling the airtime? The program also isnt mass media consumer focused.  If you would have taken the time to watch any of the segments or have had an opportunity to understand what the program is about you would know that it is a BUSINESS TO BUSINESS SHOW.  Those that are interested in the solutions that the companies that are featured provide, they will and do tune in.  If its airing late at night, they can also set their DVR to record the segment as the program is line listed in the TV Guide channel.

Holly's been calling us too.  I've heard the pitch countless times before.  At least these shows used to be "hosted" by some former very cool A-lister, like Norman Schwarzkopf, but it seems even those guys have gotten hip to the fact that these really aren't worth the money.

There's a little value in them letting your website to the video content, it certainly adds credibility to a lesser known brand to have appeared to have been spotlighted on a TV show, but in the end the show TV placement times and networks don't begin to justify the cost.  Just ask yourself this, why would CNBC and FOxBiz be selling the airtime?  Quite simply, the number of viewers doesn't justify the cost of production for them to air content- apparently even re-runs of their content.

Called my biz 6 times within 5 minutes by an automated service, but the last time i decided to answer and told them no thanks. I already called and told them to quit calling me, the operator swears they don't have machines auto dialing, I hope they are done. Ridiculous waste of time, acting like you won something or that you were "selected" for a TV show.

I am sorry to be identified as being rude. I am a professional and seek out companies who provide solutions in the industry or market we are interested in featuring as a topic.

I remember this call specifically because it was a costly product offered and what I found to be strange is that that there was NO supervisor, let alone VP or CEO within the company. As it is a call center, they should be able to provide some kind of information if someone has an issue. She stated that the information comes AFTER you purchase their product.

I do not know anyone who would be comfortable with purchasing a product with no info up front. I strive in being an educated consumer. I pride myself as a professional.

The facts are: I work for an outstanding organization who has an A+ rating with the BBB and we DO air weekly on the top Business networks in the US.

We have featured multi billion dollar companies who actually do their research and decide to move forward based on our outstanding reputation.

Do not take my word for it. Do your own research and allow yourself to form an opinion based on the facts. Not by any negative commentation from people who have NOT worked with us and have not had the opportunity to experience the professionalism we have maintained over the last 17 years.

Someone by the name of Alice White called and she said she was calling from 21st Century Health and wanted to speak to the VP of the company. I told her it was a call center and there was no VP so then she asked for the name of the person in charge. She became rude when I told her there was no one here so she said who do i speak to regarding the products you sell if I have an issue with it. I said when you get the product there is manual and it has a phone number and or email address and I do not have that information. She kept asking for a Supervisor and said she was interested in one of our products. So i transfered the rude Alice White. She was told NO we are not interested!  Alice Ms Rudeness!!!  she gets paid to be rude!!!

I'm the CEO of the company and just got a voice message from these guys. They are one of a number of these types of companies in Florida. Warning: they can be extremely persistent if you call back.

They say they are calling from a TV show (21st Century Business) and that their researchers found you and have screened your website. You "look to be a company that they'd like to feature on their TV show". They waste a bunch of your time "qualifying" you. Then comes the price tag.... $40+ grand!

Believe me, no legitimate TV or other media outlet will charge you to do a story on you. This is essentially a scam to make money by selling you a simple corporate video that airs at, like, 2am on a third tier TV network.

As I said, they can be very persistent, so my advice is to NOT call back.
