Got a voice mail from a woman named Pat saying she wanted to talk to me on behalf of my Doctor for a survey...I think it is a SCAM...Did not return call.

"Marie"...left a voice mail saying "Dr. Timothy Woods is making changes in his practice beginning in December 23 that will affect you.  Call toll free 1-866-696-3847."

It's pure BS.  Didn't call back.

Why would I have a doctor in Florida, if I'm living in PA?

Our doctor notified us that he was joining some preventive medicine cooperative or something -- wanted us to attend some "educational" session in order to retain him as our PCP (choice of 2 days in the same week when we were out of town -- thanks a lot, doc).  Long story short, he's "really excited" (so said the mailer) about limiting his practice -- WTF??  

Anyhow, we've been getting mail and calls from a third party "representing" the cooperative.  Our doctor is otherwise great but this whole thing is getting to be a PITB.  

If you got a call from this # your doctor has probably done the same thing -- if you want to keep him/her as your doctor you may want to contact their office directly.

Katie again, just searched online and he is an actual doctor in Orlando, so maybe I did go to him at some point a long, long time ago....

Been getting these calls about Dr. Popat's practice which is changing. Have no idea who this doctor is. I lived in Boca for awhile but do not recall going to this doctor. Possible scam?
