Oct 21, 2008 -- call came through my direct work line - noted phone number but didn't pick up as I've had far too many of these calls lately - the number changes but doesn't change the fact these calls come from SCAMMING SCUMBAGS. Research showed the company is Digitcom Services in Compton in the LA area. I have no need for whatever they're selling.

This number (562-223-8806) just called and I answered the phone. The called ID said: Funding Corp. An automated voice, male, started saying that there is Federal Grants availabe for small businesses, women and minorities. It then said to press 1 to be connected now. After a long pause it said press 8 to be added to the do not call list. I pressed 8 and nothing happened. I hope this is not a scam where if you press a button it authorized companies overseas to charge things to your phone account. :(

ANOTHER SCAM SCUM TRYING TO PREY ON THE PUBLIC!!! I ONLY WISH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WOULD INFORCE THE NO CALL REGISTRY LAW!! I AM ABLE TO ADD THESE CREEPS TO MY BLOCKED CALL LIST ONCE THEY CALL ,BUT EVEN THEN ITS AN ANNOYANCE TO CONSTANTLY HAVE TO DEAL WITH!

"John Clemons" called with an "Out of Area" listing using 1-562-223-8806 trying sell "Grant Money" via a robo call that wants you to give them your name phone number... ect and they'll have a representative call you back with more info.
I guess I could've done that and gotten them to call me so I could find out who they really are.
I'm on both National & Texas Do Not Call lists but that doesn't seem to stop them. Maybe they should ban "Out of Area" caller ID's as they are always this type of call.

Slimebags pull your number from lists which are illegal to use for commercial purposes.  Only way out - must change your number.  

Thank God for Google Voice.  I'll be switched over by next week.

I received the same robo call about grant money as reported on other comments.

They have called the office repeatedly, and there is never someone on the other line when answered. We've screened this number so that we're not bothered by it anymore.

This number called our office but we screened them out as a "nuisance caller" but did give them the option of leaving voice mail which they didn't care to do.  Whatever they are wanting or selling, we are not interested and they will never make a dime from us so all they end up doing is wasting their own time, money and resources.

Hey guys, I backtracked this # to DIGITCOM upstream provider, it would appear a lot of these ppl use Digitcom. Digitcom DID do something about it, gave me the number of their client, off this webpage

This has worked before for me, give it a try, COULD get these guys cut off :)

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago.  No one was on the line when I picked up, and the call wouldn't disconnect after I hung up the phone and tried to make another call.

The recording came on and I pressed 2 like it said and all it did was hang up...everyday I get this call finally I pressed 1 to get a person and asked them very polite how I may be removed and they hung up on me!!

Caller ID said "OMEGA GRP". I didn't call back.
