I have no idea how or why they have my number but I repeatedly tell them to stop calling, but the very next day they call again and also another 402 area code number same company but you can't call them back.  I have a prepaid cell and this is costly of my time and money.  Idiots!

Got a phone call from them 4/20/09 at 11:52. Thats the 2nd time they've called me. I didn't answer both times. They left no message.

Yes, some type of solicitation, but didn't answer.  Called my work cell phone on 4/18/09 and my personal cell phone 4/20/09.  Hmmm, warranty call I'm guessing for my car that's been OUT OF WARRANTY for 3 years!

Just got a call from them. Funny that we all received the calls today within hours of one another.

Smells fishy. I tried calling back, but it took me to a voice prompt, and then hung up abruptly.

Probably the best thing you can do is put your cell on the National Do-Not-Call Registry.  Problem is, you have to be on it for 31 days before you can report them.  I put my number on it last week, and they still called me today (4-20-09).

Just got a call from 562-223-8828 on my cell and was at work and did not recognize the number.  Googled it and found out it was one of those car warranty scams.  How do we stop these people???

If you're on the National No-Call List, report them. Eventually, these rip-offs will be caught and prosecuted. This has been going on for a couple of years with them using lots of numbers (spoofed?). What really gets me is that telemarketers are allowed to call cell phones. Sorry I ever got one. Now I can be interrupted ANYWHERE!

5622238828 received call at 2:20pm today.  Interupting work.  These people need to be reported.  Hate these kind of calls.

Car warranty scam. Got it twice from this number.

Got two calls from this number and both times I was told this was the second call they've made to me. Guess the computer can't count.

I just got the call at 1:00pm and pressed option 1 to speak to someone because I was curious. She asked me the make and model of my car and I told her, she called me and doesnt know the details of my car? She said "whatever" and hung up

i picked up,

the answering machine transfered me to some guy who talk fast.
he said he is chuck smtn froom some company and asked me for vin.
i asked him to repeat who it is. he said he is chuck smtn.
i asked him to say the company name slowly and he hanged up.

702-520-9102 is another # they used to call my mobile.  

The numbers on caller ID aren't legit -- some scam artist spoofs the caller id, the calls are probably routed through VoIP.  Press 1 or press 2, they hang up.  The do not call list won't help, these jokers are already breaking the law by cold-calling a cell phone.  

Verizon is one ray of hope, but kinda funny to sue "John Doe."

The one use of our government's warrantless wiretaping program that I'd approve of would be stopping clowns like this.  But there's barely a peep out of the FCC.  Ironic, huh?

I would like to warn everybody about another number that is from this company 562-223-8828.
This time they are claiming to be Warranty Service center and tell you that you factory warranty is about to expire and you need to stay on the line to renew it.
if you tell them stop calling they just hang up on you.
I did call the company and tell them to take me off the calling list and they said that they will report it to the compliance department.
This was a call to 15 cell phones that our techs use, please register your cell phone on the do not call web site at https://www.donotcall.gov/
