he did, however, call me a dumbass white-boy cracker...
can't say ive ever been called that before...
most of the time, when i tell them I'm driving a 1983 honda accord with 310,000 miles on it, they just hang up...

I once asked the seller exactly when my warranty was going to expire, because I also did not have one. She actually told me it expires with every passing minute. Last time I played it up to te "manager" level, saying I wanted to enroll. When I told im not to call me, cause they were bothering me, he told me "don't answer your phone and you won't be bothered".

3rd call today from phone number 562-289-8158. They've called in the past and I often connect to have them remove the number. "Robert" didn't like my many questions. Claimed the name of the company was "Extended Auto Warranty" and there is no specific company location. HE ended up hanging up on me........so funny! Suggestion.........write down the times and days they call, along with names of who you spoke to and file with the FTC (which I did.) Also seeing if my attorney firm with Prepaid Legal can do anything.

The scam is in the fact that they are criminals trying to get your money and personal ID and financial information in exchange for a worthless "service." They have been blanketing our area with these calls to such an extent that our State Attorney General has issued a warning about it, as several other States have also done.
If you Google "Vehicle Warranty Scam" or "Auto Warranty Scam" you will find news articles and other comments about these things.

I get this too - sometimes a message is left stating that my auto warranty is about to expire and I need to contact them - yadda yadda yadda - but funny thing is that I dont have any current warranties on my vehicles - Go figure

It's the old Automobile Warranty Scam that's been previously reported - apparently a new phone number.
