I think what we all have in common is a kid who took the PSAT recently or some other test like that. They tell me my child has expressed an interest in receiving SAT prep materials. What parent wouldn't want to help their kid? So then they scam you for test prep stuff!

They just called and asked for my mom or dad when i said she's not here and they just hung up. /:

yeah they ask for parents and if you say no they randomly hang up its really annoying

always call, no message and hang up when i pick up the phone

Today I just got a phone call from this number and they asked me if I was the mother of my son, and I said yes, then I asked what school he was calling from and he hung up the phone.These phone calls are very upsetting due to the fact they know information about your children and the home phone numbers.

Called today asking for "Corey" parents and then they said my last name. No Corey lives in my house, nor does anyone in my whole family that I know of have the name corey.

They called asking for my son's mom or dad.  I said yes and they hung up.  They have been calling all week.

Ya same its kinda freaky. They called said hi is this Belle's mom" No? "is Belle's dad there?"

Same thing, I've gotten numerous calls from this number. Usually they just hang up when I answer. Once they asked for Megan's parents then immediately hung up.

They asked for the same, SAT prep for one of my sons...they are on top of it, he just graduated from a UC...

Asked for my child's parent-  I said yes- started in about PSAT/SAT prep-I said had bought a program a few years ago- hung up on me!

These are test prep companies -- we're trying to find out how theyare getting our kids name an phone number!!!

We have received 14 calls in 10 days from this number. The one time I answered (I figured something was up), the line was then hung up. Today I called the number and got the Google voice mail. My daughter did recently take the PSAT. This is so annoying to run across the house every time for these idiots calling! I would never buy anything they sell.
Please, if someone knows who to report this to, do so, immediately!

Ive been receiving this annoying calls from this number. Hangs up  when try to pick up. Goes on voice mail when call back. I sincerely believe the government should do something about such idiots.

What are the chances??  I just received another call from them, within an hour of leaving the message I wrote above, about a half hour ago. This time, they asked for my son's Mom and when I said I was she, they actually gave a first name and said they were an SAT prep service.  I told them I wasn't interested and to please take us off the calling list.  

I know my son gave my email address when he took the PSAT's. I wonder if that's how this business also received our phone number?

I, too, have been receiving calls from this number. They never ask for anyone or say anything, but they hang up.  I have called back, as others have, only to receive a Google voice mail message.  

After Googling the number, I found results that gave the name of a company that is (supposedly) providing service to this number.  After calling them, they gave me a number to call, saying it was actually a different company (but Google results say one is doing business as the others, so they may be related).  I just called and left a message to take my number off their list.  We'll see what happens.

I received a call this morning and again the person hung up.
They keep asking for the adult in the house, when we asked to be put on their Z"don't call list" they hung up.
We have received numerous amount of calls from them on a daily bases and have reported it to the telephone company and they said that this person was unlisted and they could not help.
I do not know what to do next.

just got ANOTHER call at 9:45 pdt.  same thing rang twice, I picked up, dial tone.
can't the phone company do something since they issued the phone number.  with so many complaints the attorney general should have been on this by now.

just got one - I've received calls before from this one, I think, sounds like the same number.  reported it to the attorney general's office.  caller stated that I owed money to a payday loan company (didn't), that I better contact a lawyer, and that the police would be picking me up as I had an outstanding warrant for it in California.  the company the claimed I owed, has on their website that someone is scamming and that they DON't even loan money - just refer to those who do.  This time the phone rang twice & hung up - we didn't answer.  My number is blocked from telemarketers, so????

Yup, they asked for my parents, too!  I asked what 'he' was calling about (it was a man), and he again asked for my parents. Again, I asked what the call was about and he said if I wasn't going to put them on, I could just disconnect - which I did!

The person called asking for my son's parents (they knew my son's name).  When I called back their number from the ID the phone message asked for the name I was trying to reach.  I said my son's name and the telephone just kept ringing and then said that the person was unavailable.

They just called me here in Milwaukee. 5 pm, March 12, 2012

WTF is up with these people?

yeah I just got off the phone with these guys too. I'm in massachusetts and don't have any kids. they ask for steve's parents - I'm Steve. Friggin retards. Didn't fool me for an instant.

Just got a call from them. Same as above.

I get this call every day, when i answer it there is no one there. Now simply ignoring. This has been happening well over a month or so.

Keep getting this phone number and just get dead air. I think it's an SAT prep company. I asked them not to call and they keep calling. If everyone on this list has a child who registered or took the SAT or PSAT - this may be the link. I'm going to post a complaint at national do not call registry.

had the same thing...called asked for my parents, it was a womans voice...i said they wernt home (which they wernt) and said "this is *** you can talk to me" she said "im sorry im looking for the parents of a highschool student" i said again they are not home then she just said ok and hung up...called them back and went strait to a voicemail. got my shotgun redy to rock :)

They just called me, and asked "hi, can I speak with one of nathans parents please?"

When I told them I never give my credit card number out over the phone, they hung up!

I read on another website that they are calling to sell stuff to help kids with SAT's and it is very expensive.  I just received a call from them also, but they didn't leave a message.  It's pretty much telemarketing, so I'm not sure how they get away with it when you are on the Do Not Call list.
