live in upper Michigan and received a call...I am on  DNC list...at least when i picked up the phobne someone started talking, addressing me by my name, pisses me off, mentioned something abouta follow up call pertaining to a post card mailed...I do not remember that...but then a problem on the line and caller was gone...looked up number and come up with DAVE ABADI in Traverse City...231-486-0385....HOW ARE THESE B*****DS GETTING away with this...I have complained on several other numbers that call and are scams so really does no good to complain...I say find these b*****ds and get to the bottom of it....

Wow such much on this person he has a company called Nationwide Telecom and is using our address, now I know it's fraudulent, guess we will have to complain so they shut this company and person down

I got a call from a friend in Illinois, but the number came up as 715-204-3339--totally wrong number.  When I looked up the number it was listed as "Abadi" in Stevens Point.  No such business exists. Correct caller ID did not show, since I know the number that should have showed up.

Since so many of these annoying many calls come from 563-209-9182, why doesn't the telephone company nation wide voluntarily abort this number from existance?  Sure, "Dave Abadi" will get another number, but that then can also be aborted, etc.

I forgot to mention on my previous posted reply to Annoyed, I don't have any bills in collections so I am not sure how this guy obtained my unlisted telephone number....

I am having the same problem as Annoyed.  The 563-209-9182 number shows on my caller ID for Abadi Dave.  I have blocked the number as I have a fax machine hooked up during the day for my employment.  The problem is that now when my corporate office is trying to fax to me, their fax transmission will not come through.  I ran my caller ID report on my fax machine and I only have Blocked calls from this Dave Abadi person and number...How is his number able to "piggy back" and mask the true source of the caller? I have rechecked all my settings and did hardware diagnostics..all systems are functioning fine.  Anyone have any suggestions?

I received a call today from this number and this name 563-209-9182 Abadi Dave.  However, my wife unintentionally picked up the phone and it was a relative from another state.  That relative has called here many times before.  HOW DID THIS NAME AND NUMBER show up on a routine phone call from someone else?  This is the 3rd time it has happend (previous 3 months ago when one of our health providers provided a reminder call on appointments for myself and wife).  

There is an issue somewhere in the phone network where this caller id and number show up on unrelated calls.  (landline in this situation)

The internet is littered with scam calls with caller id "Abadi Dave" (some in all caps), using perhaps hundreds of different phone numbers.  Further, a search of 411.com show 27 entries under the name Dave Abadi.  I started checking the addresses using Google Maps and discovered all are probably fake addresses, many pointing to empty lots, commercial building, factories, movie theaters, or the centers of intersections (street numbers like 500, 1700, 100, are generally non-existent).  One non-x00 number pointed to an empty lot in a near empty trailer court, many did not have street view, and one was in the middle of what appeared to be farm country.  These listings also show phone numbers but I suspect they may be fake as well.

Thus, all of these Abadi Dave entries appear to be fake seeded entries to make it difficult to track down the perpetrators of these scam calls.  Also, there are many entries on LNKEDLIN for Abadi Dave, all of which I also suspect as fake seeded entries (most are foreign, which probably cannot be verified).  

This whole thing appears to be a coordinated effort, typically called a consipiracy in legal terms.  Enough complaints to the proper authorities could put a crimp in their style.

Rec'd a call twice from Dave Abadi, showing 563-209-9182 as the number.  I answered and the jack*** wasn't intelligent enough to reply, so I hung up both times.

This number showed Dave Abadi as the caller.  I am so frustrated with all of these stupid calls:  818-232-1609; 877-674-4280; 855-210-9463; 563-209-9182.  I don't answer any numbers I don't recognize.

Tried to make it look like a cell number.  Don't answer this.  It's either a bill collector or a telemarketer.
