I encourage others to do the same to stop this criminal and prevent further victims.

Just received a text today from this number in reference to craigslist ad I posted regarding my bedroom set. We agreed on the price and said he would mail me a certified check on Monday. He said he was sorry that he only does check and as soon as I have the check cashed, I'll have my money. He also asked me for my name and address and that movers will come and pick up the furniture. When I insisted on the cash payment only, he stopped texting. Clearly, he's a repeat offender who will stop at nothing to scam others. Is there any way to get this guy arrested?

Agreed to a price on a Craigslist item...received a check for $1400 over the amount.
Definitely a scammer...advised to forward an correspondence to the postal inspector.
