I feel like this number is eerily similar to another one I've reported on....

But they call looking for someone who isn't at this location. Anyone with legit business would have his correct number.

I put them on an infinite hold until they give up, and if they call back, I transfer them to the conference room voicemail.

They have called once a day for the past three days.  I don't even answer the phone when I see "Lost Nation, IA" pop up on the caller ID anymore; I simply hit the "answer" icon on my computer screen, then immediately disconnect the call.  Asking to be removed from their list earlier obviously got nowhere, so will continue to hang up when they call.

3 times a day and every day M-F sometimes even on Saturday.  They call on a corporate phone line and I have never ordered a magazine in the 15 years working with this phone number.  I have tried three times to make them take this number off their list but no luck.  

Unknown why this unknown party is calling a federal agency and if they are soliciting, they are violating the FCC law. Stop calling

Didn't answer when number popped up on caller ID-just picked call up and immediately hung up.

Same MO as previous post-sent her to spam voice mail box. I think in the future I will immediately disconnect after answering.

This number just called me and I didn't answer, but I call the number back and they say they are calling from Fleet Auto about the deals on cars in my local area.  i'm not shopping for a car and have not been so where are they getting this informatioN!?

Calls and asks for controller. Just put on hold until they hang up-as they call EVERYDAY-or send to old voice mail.  Lost Nation on caller ID...so tired of these people. I know they are trying to make a living, but at what point does it sink in that many other people also trying to make a living finds these calls a nuisance, annoying and disruptive????

Calling 2-3 times daily for past week; caller ID lists as "Fund Raiser"

This number calls my workplace several times a week. I tell them they need to talk to my manager and the woman tried to get me to verify the business information and I explained again that I'm not authorized to do that. The caller ID is very misleading because it says fund raiser above the number. This seems like a scam to me.

This number is computer-generated/phony/pirated, shows up as Unavailable.  Engaged in a variety of frauds, scams, come-ons.  They are violating the DNC laws.  They are the lowest scam fraudsters devil worshipers and animals, just adding to the totality of nuisance fraudulent telephone calls.  The number for a persistent caller of this nature is programmed into our call blockers.  It is assumed that all improperly or incompletely identified numbers are from the increasing number of scams, frauds, tie-lines, etc.  This is why everyone must contact their elected reps in DC to demand that they significantly strengthen the DNC laws, providing extremely severe dollar and prison sentences for violators.  This is an opportunity for Congress to actually do something useful for the country, not just pass gas and throw spitballs at each other.  Any business must be properly identified on Caller Id, not hide behind Not Available, Private, Unavailable, etc.  It is time to ban any kind of solicitation call, whether charitable, political, survey, opinion poll, telemarketer, debt collector or whatever.  You can be assured that funds donated or offered over the phone will mostly go into the pockets of the organizers, not to the charity, along with a $10 donation showing up as $100s in charges.  There must be a new scam and fraud being generated every second out there.  They all need to be locked up. We need call control, not gun control!

First thing this morning a call from Lostnation.

Call this number, its the main number for their call centers.  Be polite to the lady, she's just another person trying to make a living.  I was very nice to her and she had my number removed from all of their databases.

I get minimum of three calls from them daily and not one message is left on voice-mail.

Has been calling off and on and we've just blocked the number.  Their caller id now states LOST NATION IA .  Eventually, once there's a responsible US President elected, the FCC will be instructed to enforce the DO NOT CALL laws.  

ID said "fund raiser"  and they have been calling numerous times, over and over.  They are now on my Call Block.

Female asked for company president and told he was unavailable; asked if he had an assistant, and I replied: "No".  Thanked me and hung up.  These calls are exactly what L_w_g posted: various and sundry "free" manufacturing (in our company's case) or other specialized "free" trade magazines. They may send you a free copy, but sure the outrageous billing for 2-3 yrs. subscription will soon follow. Get these and other types calls several times during the day, every day. You give them the same response: that so-and-so DOES NOT have an assistant, and yet they continue to call and ask. Also want to "update" their "info", asking for emails or mailing address of management personnel; do not give either since they will send the magazines if you confirm your mailing address. Have asked them to stop calling but no luck.

Called on 08/01/2013 at 3:42 PM.  Left no voice mail.  Caller ID shows, "EI Telemarketin."

Someone called to update my information so they could send me free subscription to Architect Record magazine.  Since we already received multiple paid subscriptions, this is certainly a SCAMMER.

got a call from this number and the ID said "fund raise"....  Scam. On my list of callers to hang up on.

We are a one-dig 811 center and we get calls from them as well.
