Got a call and I was first asked to give 4 digit expiration date on any one of my credit cards, then later asked for all the number, and the last 4 of social security. I said that would be giving my credit card number inappropriately. I was told that it was a okay, we are not responsible if anyone misuses our card!   I told caller not to call back!  

My 87 year old Mother would probably have given them what they wanted.

Caller was very manipulative.

Received call 8/26/11, 09:54.  Did not answer.  No ID.  No message.

I picked up the phone and held it on. But my phone went dead afterwards. I had to reset the cable box. Then the phone started working again.

Received this call on Aug 17 in the early evening. No message was left. I was curious whose area code was 566. Thanks for posting this info.

I am so sick of all these weird numbers and of course they do not leave a message. I am on the do not call list but they still call.  I did not answer and I am glad I found this blog about this phone number.This happened a few minutes ago August 17,2011. Enough is enough  and wish there  was something that could be done about it.

Yep same thing.I pressed 9 and told the lady we are on the do not call list and they could be charged $10,000 fine for calling me.  She said "Yah, and who are we?" CLICK....

Received a call from this number August 6, 2011.  Didn't answer it; they didn't leave a message.  I refuse to answer calls unless caller ID lists a name with which I am familiar.

Why can't these unwanted calls be stopped?

robo caller. said I may have gotten a message about an increased interest rate and I might be eligible to avoid such rate. press 9 to talk to office.

same thing...said it was in regard to my credit cards and a letter to raise my rates....said to press 9 to talk to the "office"

Simple folks....buy yourself a nice brass whistle and blow it ver----y loudly into the phone, when they call.

I've phoned my states' atty gen who said they can not pursue the people who call like this, because they are too numerous, are off-shore and keep changing their  phone numbers.

The People's Whistle is your only recourse. Help me start a trend, maybe if enough folks do it and the ear drums of these scammer's are pierced enough, this scam-industry will go away. If not, you will continue to get these calls.

My atty gen says they are in business because they get paid well from these scams. Please help, get a whistle!!

Looked up this number & it's listed as an invalid phone no.  Anytime you see a lot of zeros included should alert you that it's a scam.  Other websites indicated they're attempting to get credit card info.

Card services calling to reduce your credit card interest rate.  Have received calls just like this from other phone numbers.

Just received a recorded message stating I may have received a letter stating my credit card rates would be increasing. If I wanted to stop or reduce this increase to press 9. When I pressed nine I was transferred to a heavily accented male who wanted personal information to access my account. Not once during the automated message or during the conversation with the male was I told who the call was from. When I asked the male who he was calling for he said that they were representing Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. I immediately hung up and called Discover who said they did not make the call and would never call a customer asking for personal information. I reported this phone number to the do not call registry. I tried to file complaint with state attorney general but they referred me to do not call registry. Hope nobody gets scammed by this.

Just received a recorded message from this number, about reducing my credit card rates.  I normally don't answer when it says Unknown Name, but every once in awhile, I get curious and my suspicions of bogus call always pan out.
