constantly calls my number but does not answer when I anwer or they hang up

This number keeps calling me.  It says "IL, USA" on the caller ID.  The first time, I answered, and there was some guy with a very thick accent, maybe middle-eastern??....but I couldn't understand a thing he was saying.  There was static and background noise adding to the difficulty of the accent.  I understood something about a personal loan.  Since I have no personal loans, and if I did, it would be from my bank, so I'd recognize the number, I told him not to call me again, and hung up.  Now, I get calls 6-10 times a day from this number, which I don't bother to answer.  It irritates me, though, that it's using my airtime on my cell phone.

This number called over forty times in one day when you call it back you can't get through

they called me today while I was working from 11:30 am until 2pm I had 21 no lie 21 missed calls from this number and not once did they leave a voice mail.

for whatever reason lately I have been getting calls from numbers I don't recognize? Why is they happening so frequently?

I just received a call from this number but did not answer.  Started to investigate and see I'm not alone. The dates on this blog are from 2012 and it's now May 2014.  Can nothing be done. I am also on the no call list!

Guy with a really bad accent called asking if we wanted to upgrade our QuickBooks -which we don't have.  Said he was from Datacom and wanted to give us a free upgrade.  Yeah right.  I told him nothing is free so what will it cost in 30 days.  then he said he was just trying to make an appointment for his boss.  I couldn't get him off the phone despite me telling him at least 5 times we weren't interested so I said thanks and hung up.

same thing. got a call, don't leave a message........

Telling me that he is a federal criminal officer and he is calling for settlement out of court !!!!!!!

Called back - after two rings received a busy signal - obviously a spoofed number

I received a call today. the woman asked if she was speaking to and said my name. Iasked who was calling and she started to state her name and then hyng up.

This number, 567-244-4026, called and never left a message.  I then saved it in my BLOCK LIST.  
I recommend buying a call blocker.  I bought mine on Ebay.  Will block 1500 calls.  I just keep adding the fake numbers to the block list and I am actually getting less calls coming through.  Really, I am shocked that I can tell a difference now.  I see they try, on the call block ID, but they don't come through.......

They asked for the business owner, I said she wasn't in and they hung up....
Next time they call I am going to say yes and put them on hold... indefinately

Call says Toledo, OH picked up, heard a bunch of other voices like a call center and hung up. They called right back and I idn't answer and they left no message. What is the point of the do not call list, really?

I am in an office, same thing happened today.

This number (and Toledo, OH) appeared on my Caller ID before I answered the telephone.  The very polite caller identified herself by name, and indicated that she was calling on behalf of ??? energy company.  Then, she indicated that she wished to speak to the "homeowner at this address."  When I replied, very clearly and distinctly "You are," she hung up.  How rude?!

I'm in Australia and getting these overseas calls from this number . I don't answer but frustrating anyway.

I get at least 2 to 3 calls everyday from this number.  No one says anything.  When I say hello, they hang up.  I wish they would get a life!!!

Called home phone, left short message with lots of voices in the background, like a call center.

Called at 8:18 in the morning I ignored the call because I didn't recognize the number or the area code. They did not leave a message.

Such a bad echo. The woman wanted to confirm our owner's email for whatever it was, couldn't understand half of what she said. Didn't want to hear the echo either.  grrrrr  These people are LOW LIFES.

When answered there is nothing but dead air. If you call the number back directly it refers you to an 800 number for "services." There is no live person or ability to speak to a live person from either number. It is nothing more than an annoying advertisement service for bing.com (according to the 800 number recording) with no option to opt-out. This is rather annoying as they call me regularly at 7am on top of it all.

Telemarketing baboons just couldn't lose my number....still calling from a faked / spoofed number I see.

I didn't take this call since I had previously flagged them as a scammer.   Boo hoo for them.

I called it back and it said it was a 800 telephone service that was no longer active and some website I could to go for other 800 call services.
