I also got 2 random text messages, the first from 570-203-0009 saying "you awake?" yesterday and then today from 570-203-0004 saying "Hows it going?". Both times I texted back "Who's this?" and didn't get a response....

he sent me a random text just saying "whats up", i dont have any adds on kijiji nor do I even have facebook. I dont have a clue on how he got my phone number, esp. since I live in Canada.

Same MO with me today. Same e-mail monkzter23@gmail.comand phone number 570-203-0004. no response to a text reply, but he did respond to e-mail and accepted low price offered and agreed to pay by paypal.

Hah nice. thank god for google and sites like this. i just got a reply to my kijiji ad for my truck saying exactly the same thing. no negotiation on the $7000 asking price, no details or anything. this could end up being pretty fun. thanks for the tip guys.

Wow too funny just has the same guy reply to my ad of Kijiji and said the same thing. Didn't negotiat price even though I wrote to him saying we weren't firm on the price and then said he could only pay me by pay pal. I feel bad for the people who would fall for this.

Just had a call from this number responding to an ad I had in Kijiji.
Was willing to pay full asking price without seeing the items. Wanted to pay via paypal and have it shipped abroad. Sounds the same as a post for the number 570-203-0008. Used the email address Monk Zter <monkzter23@gmail.com>.
Others have said that "He'll put money in your PayPal account plus some extra to pay the shipping service he selected. He'll have you forward that money to his shipping service. Then PayPal will discover that his money doesn't exist and take it out of your account. All of it, including the amount designated for his shipping service. You'll be out the shipping fee plus whatever PayPal charges for the bounced payment. "
