call on home phone, I let it go to voice mail because the Caller ID and number were not known to me, and although normally they hang up, this one obviously wasn't paying attention that it was a machine, could hear noise in the background, caller sighed twice, and hung up.

Got a call from this number today, the message left was 'we will call back', they sounded very distant.

I am so tired of receiving calls 3 & 4 times a day and not being able to find out who it is. I am on Do Not Call which is a joke. Charities call and keep calling even iafter you say sorry bit know. Even the ones that identify themselves after a call back give you no way to opt out. Having unlisted # doesnt help because the use auto dialers. We ought to havde some kind of rights or abilities to keep this from happening!

I had the same thing on my cell phone. No msg, just hung up but the number was on caller ID.
