They are trying to switch you to their company to provide the electric. These are home based positions and the people calling get a commission for getting you to switch. They are based in NY but service MD, NJ, NY, IL, OH, and PA
This is the newest at home job, I have about 6 different energy companies calling trying to get me to switch. They all pay the at home sales person by 1099 for everyone they switch.

They are calling my inlaws! Father and son have same name. Spouse is so embarrassed to talk to his parents. Causing issues at home. We have been thru enuf already!

this jerk keeps calling every day for over 3 months. hangs up befor answering machine comes. they count your rings the first time they call, after that they hang up befor  the machine comes.  further action is going to take place . police are taking over.

Caller trying to get customer #. Said they were with Penelec. When I said I didn't have penelec then they said they were with PPL. When I told them I didn't have PPL they asked if I had UGI. I not disclose. Caller never did give me who she was representing. I called both my gas and electric companies (penelec and UGI) I was informed it was a "energy deregulation" company. The whole call was pretty shady.

getting calls from this number 4-5 times a week...last time they called i got hung up on by someone talking to a co-worker non professionally....i called number back and asked to speak with a supervisor...told person who claimed to be a supervisor to add me to do not call list and if i received another call from them i would be reporting to the better business bureau...we'll see what happens if they call back again...

They are not PPL they are some company that wants you to switch your electric the first time I called them back and got a lady on the phone she said she was PPL and my usage from last year had changed and that it was a program by PPL to help save there customers money. So when I asked her how she said she would need my bill and my account number and address by the way anyone reading this and hasn't caught on to what im saying how could she know what the differences in my power usage between last year and this year and if she really was from PPL calling about this great opportunity for me how come she didn't have my account info already.(Scam) they have called me 23 times in the last four days. I filed a report with th local PD and they told me I wasn't the first one to have this happen. They get your info change over your electric to a different company using your account info and collect there commission.

OK.  Thank you.  If this is PPL, then they always have a special going on where you can reduce your electricity by purchasing it from another company, but PPL will still be the supplier.

Have received numerous calls from this number. I do not answer them. I believe it is someone trying to get you to switch electric suppliers. Since I got a new landline number from Verizon I have received numerous junk calls. How do yo9u stop them ???

I received calls from this number and and in regards to you saying they only want your name, address and billing acct number...well, PPL told me NOT to give them my billing acct number, UNLESS I actually want to use that company's services... because some of these companies will change you to them if you give the info and really don't want to add them to your PPL services...I told the PPL customer service I did not want to change anything on my acct and they noted that so 3rd party companies cannot contact me and my name would be removed from these offers...

I spoke with them only because I work in a similar type call center so I always give them a chance so I can see whats up..the calls work on a computer dialer so if an ans machine picks up it disconnects if a person answers then it connects to an agent that's why you will never get a message left..also its not a scam they only ask for name address and bill acct numb and there really isn't anything they can do scam related with that kind of info. They are working with one of the very many electric suppliers that have been calling recently..basic they change the rate on your electric bill..doesn't change the service or equipment though..some of them can be very much worth it but you have to check the rate they are offering in comparison to your current rate and you should ask if they have a contract and any enrollment or cancellation fees.

This is a scam, someone saying they are from a  Pa gas company wanting information about you to lower your bill. Do not give them any info, instead just hang up and report them to:Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General

I just called because we were also receiving many calls at our new land line from this number.  I believe he said it's PPL Electric and Gas calling about bills due.  If you are not a customer, just tell them, and hopefully they'll stop calling.  He took my number down and promised that would be the case.  We'll see what happens.  The first time I tried, I was on hold 5 minutes before I hung up, but this time I got someone right away.

This number has called me 8 times in the past 5 days. They never leave a message and I will not return a call without knowing who I'm calling and for what reason.

Third time calling; however, leaves no message.
