I received a text message at 2:35 A.M. Please let me know how this can be stopped. The message said I had won a $1,000.00 gift card from Wal-mart. Where do these companies get our names and phone numbers?

I got a text from 571-230-5267 telling me i just won a $1000.00 gift card all i had to do was go to promocenter.ws/wamart and enter "GIFT" to recieve my prize

I was also sent a text from promodayoffers.com/walmart_gift and to enter code 1000. but from this number, 571-438-0624 I hope saum1 does sumthing about this bull....!

just find a charity and use a bogus name and address and write in there phone number,and the best part is that all the charities will get this phone number and they will call them all day long and tie up there phones

I know how terrible. I got the same mssage this morniing at6:40am. I thought it was legit cuz I had entered my Wal-mart receipt in the drawing of that sweeepstakes. Is that even legal? I was texred from this number 703-317-7614.

Got same message, did a search and is a scam. i wonder if we can flood their phone lines with calls and messages. maybe someone can set a computer program to keep calling their number so they cannot send these messages.

Just got a text from Promodayoffers telling me that I have just wont $1,000 dollars Walmart gift card and claim it at there website. Their phone number is 1-571-309-9397 and I think this is just one of their numbers that they use. It's a telemarketing scambag.

I received a text message on my cell phone at 6:10am March 17, 2012 which states the following - "You just won a free $1000 Walmart gift card, enter "1000" at http:/promodayoffers.com/walmart_gift" I though advertising to cell phones ws still illegal and besiides I still have to pay for every text message.
