This is a 3rd party collection agency who has bought old or charged off debt. They will harrass you and try to scare you in to paying them just so you will have piece of mind. They are running a scam. First they will ask you for your debit card information. If that doesn't work they will ask you to pay by Money Gram to ADA (http://www.adabusinessandmarketing.com/Legal_Services.html) and if that doesn't work, they will ask you to pay by Western Union to Peter Landis or Sergio Diodoarda in Galloway New Jersey. Who ever heard of a legitimate company asking you to wire money to random individuals? Obvious scam. They will call non stop from 4 AM to 4PM on my cell and work phone. Harass my coworkers. They even threatened my life. I filed a police report, complaints with the FTC, DCA, FBI, BBB & Cal Attorney General Office.

A person by the name of Dexter with a thick accent called my job yesterday threatening to put me in jail, if I did not make payment on a pay day loan in the amount of $962. When, I said I didn't know what he was talking about because I paid off my loan. He became more irrate and arguementative. When I hung up, He called 4 times in a minute. I told my supervisor and security about the calls. Today, my supervisor took the calls and Dexter began to harrass him. Something has got to be done.

I don't know how large your hospital is, or what kind of phone system you have, but I would advise that you check with your IT department (or whoever is responsible for your phones) to see if they can block these calls.

I work at a small construction company (12 employees total), and we have a phone system that has a blocklist. As long as CallerID information is provided when the call comes in, it can be blocked on that basis. We never hear more than once from any of these kinds of undesirable callers because their numbers are immediately added to the blocklist after their first call.

I mention this because if a small company like ours can do it, then I expect a hospital would have the resources to do it as well. Last week my boss mentioned that our blocklist had resulted in over 1200 blocked calls in the last 17 months, so it's definitely worth the time and effort to set it up. I don't know the details, except that it was some custom programming done on our Asterisk IP phone system.

I hope this helps; you have my sympathies.

I do not know the name of the person they are trying to reach, and this caller does not seem to care who he directs his tirades at. I work for a hospital as a phone operator and have had the misfortune of having to talk to the man at this number on several occasions. My first encounter was the first call I received of the day, and he identified himself as a member of law enforcement. He threatened my job if I could not get the person on the line that he was asking for immediately. Our HR department refuses to take phone calls as he is beligerant and attempts to tie up our phone lines. Just recently, we have had to involve our security office as the number 347-772-1724 has found a way to tie up the phone lines at several of our nurses stations. He uses profanity and has told our nurses that he hopes one of our patients dies while he has the lines tied up so it would make his collection that much sweeter. The guy is a monster! Our law enforcement said there is little they can do to stop the calls since they originate overseas.

I have visited the Sheriffs Office in my county and have been advised that the "Collection Officer" is an off coast fraud.  DO NOT GIVE them any information, a real creditor can be verified by your local law enforcement agency.  DO NOT RELY on the creditor to verify themselves.  If you can't block their calls on your phone, give them a really irritating sound like a FAX phone or air horn.  After they get a couple of ear aches, they will stop bothering you.  Unfortunately in this day and age a lot of what should be "private information" IS available on the internet, and these scam artists use that to defraud people.  Remember, if you didn't ask for it, or if you can't pay it locally don't assume that the call is ligitimate.  In most cases it will prove as this one did, to be just another scam artist trying to rip you off.

I just received 27 calls directly on my office line.  telling me I was being sued by someone.  When I asked who they refused to tell me and so I hung up.  They called back 27 more times demanding to speak with my boss and I told them absolutlely not.  I gave the number to my corporate security.  This man is persistant and rude and unfortunately his broken english didn't help the situation any.

This person with a thick Accent called my cell phone 9 times in 3 minutes. I finally blocked his number from my cell phone. I did answer it 1 time and he started saying he was from my local law enforcement (REALLY) I thought they had to speak english at least to where you can understand them. I finally hung up. I filed BK over 2 years ago and it has been discharged for 23 months. I am tired of this idiot calling so much. Who can I contact to report them.???? Help

I just received 16 calls back to back from this number between 645am and 650am. I was googled the number because they just wouldn't stop calling!!! I found this page, and out of curiosity, answered the last call. He had an thick accent and didn't speak good English, until he started threatening to rape and kill everyone in my family. He seemed to know EXACTLY how to get his point across then!!!  What is wrong with people these days??

The caller Dennis Peterson has called over the past several days trying to reach an employee for my company.  His calls are threatening, he is harassing, verbally abusive and has threaten to kick  one of my co-workers butt (not the term he used).

We have involved our Global Security, the employee has contacted her attorney who said he will deal with Dennis Peterson.  In the meantime the employee called this company and spoke with Dennis Peterson boss and requested that he stop call and harassing her fellow co-workers.

I do not have time nor patience to take his verbal abuse.

These people are calling and harassing me, cursing and using vulgar language, saying I owe them money because I took out a loan online in October 2010 (it is now February 2012) and never paid it back. I never took out any loan like this and have no delinquent accounts. I called my bank where they said the money went, and of course they said they have no record of anything like that. These people can barely speak English, they have such strong Indian accents that I cannot even understand alot of what they are saying. They are threatening to take me to jail and using every other scare tactic to try to get me to pay them. Fortunately, I am familiar with the law and know that all of this is nonsense. What does scare me though, is that they have all of my personal information; social security number, address, full name, bank information, DOB, work information....etc. HOw do I get this matter resolved? I do not want any type of identity theft or any issue with my credit. Do I call the police and the Attorney General's Office or what?
