received calls from this # about once every hour

This number calls my phone several times a day. I used to ignore it, because they never lv a msg. Cant be that important them.The few times I did answer...they hung up! Need them to stop interrupting!

I got a call from this number at 8:49 at night.  I don't answer calls from phone numbers I don't recognize, and since the call came in so late, I had no clue who it was.  They didn't leave a message.  When I tried to call back, it rang 10 times and the person who picked was either Asian or African and I couldn't understand tem.  I think they asked for my account number and when I asked who they were, they said that they needed my account number before they could tell me.  I have no clue why they would be calling me, especially at that late hour and then being rude to me when I call back.  I told the guy to call back when he learned English and hung up.

This number has been calling our house all day today.  The last time they called, there was someone with a heavy accent asking for someone I have never even heard of.  I told them that they have the wrong number and need to stop calling us immediately.  Hopefully we won't be hearing from them again.

Deep accent asking for a name that sounded "MADE UP"  I asked him what country he was calling from and he said Canada...   Would not really answer my question about why he was calling and who this person was he was asking for.. I told him to go f*** off..  This is a business number I have had for 26 years, seems like every day there is another scam of some type calling us from a VOIP line spoofing caller ID and trying to get away with something.   If this is Capital One they are only proving to be as crooked as the rumers I have always heard...   I also do not have a Capital One credit card and never would

I have been getting a lot of calls from this number 571-261-0072.  How can I make them stop?

They called me and said I had a $1,000 credit card balance... And they wanted to settle. I asked for the number and it didn't match any cards I had. When he said the numbers I said "I never had a card with those four numbers at the end". He said "wait a min", "I'm looking at the wrong account"... Then immediately hung up. I believe this is a scam. He had the "settlement" number ready to go. Got a funny feeling about this company. They find OLD debt's that are payed off and still try to collect them. Seriously, this could be a scamming company, don't give them your account information. Try to contact the company you originally had the debt with and make sure they sent the collection to them.

These people who are calling my number and all these other peoples number need to be reported to every one you can report to. Thay call and never leave a message are any details this harasment needs to stp immediately. Make sure all you let the BBB in your area and any one else yu know about this. Theres enough problems in the world with out this mess.

They have called me 4 times today asking for a Jennifer Thompson.  I have spoken with two supervisors at this point and have been told that it will be removed within 72 hours.  I got the same script from 3 other people from there.  if you do not owe anything to where they can collect on you, please file a complaint with the FCC if you get called more then once.  It is illegal for any collector to call you multiple times in one day.

The company is NCO Financial for Capital One. They called me 4 times on a Sunday. I answered once and was asked to hold for an important msg. Then I was told that all operators were busy and the call disconected. They called me twice thismorning. I returned their call and asked the operator why they keep calling me. They asked for my name, phone # and capital one account number. When I explained to them that I did not have an account with Capital One the guy just hung up on me. I called back and they hung up on me again.... I think they are a credit collector, but I'm not sure? They are obviously calling the wrong number!

I have been getting calls from NCO for over 2 YEARS asking for a person whom I do not know. I asked them to take me off their list and they always say they will but they never do  MY # IS AN EMERGENCY LINE THAT I HAVE TO ANSWER ANY TIME OF DAY!!! The always call me at 6 am on the weekends... I hate them!!! BUT: I job requires me to drive  alot, so i just put on my bluetooth and dial away... i call them all the time, i waste their time, lead them on, play games, lie about ME being a debt collector and I ask for their employees ( I always ask for their names) they never quite know what to make of me, and sometimes they ask me how i have the time, and when i explain it to them, they just sit there, quiet, and then i just start up again... i know it sounds like i dont have a life but I actually do... but at work I have a lot of paid down time.... so this is just fun for me

NCO Fincl Svcs has been calling 3 times a day for some time from this and other numbers. If I stop what I'm doing and go answer the phone, there is a delay of a few seconds until a recorded voice says "Please hold for the next..."  If the machine gets it they hang up. In all this time, they have yet to ask for a person or identify what they want.  This is really irritating!  If they are a collection company as some on this site say, how on earth do they intend to collect anything in this on going loop? I don't have unpaid bills, but if I did this certainly wouldn't encourage me to cooperate.

I will try writing a letter to see if they stop harassing me... They call up to 30 times a day staring about 3 am. I am fed up with them. I hope the last person i actually talked to was fired! I repeatedly told them i was not interested in speaking to the collection agency as CO screwed me and refused to settle. I am NOT going to pay the $700 in late fees they have charged me because THEY were holding the funds for 3 - 5 days AFTER it cleared my bank account. This is THEIR fault NOT MINE! The agent got nasty with me when he did not like my answer, I do not have to tell you who i am that is my right. All I kept getting was " Your call IS being recorded for quality assurance" I dont give a rats azz! When your manager hears our call I hope you are fired you SOB!

I too keep getting
calls from this number on my cellphone!  I do NOT have any outstanding DEBTS and this CRAP is getting on my last nerve already!  STOP!!  I refuse to anwser!

I also have been recieving several calls per day from this NCO company. These are also other numbers they call me from: 253-248-6406, 405-295-7024, 408-538-5102, 767-209-2054, 443-205-1045, 909-202-8200, 800-883-0613, 434-533-9062 All these numbers call me not once, but several times a day and don't leave messages. Then if you answer they are hesitant at giving where they are from. I don't appriciate them calling me only on my busness phones and NOT leaving messages most of the time. If they were a for real, wouldn't you think they would have a good home or personal cell number???? They called my desk number at my employment today and I had my supervisor tell them this is a busness phone number, don't call back, and the person informed my supervisor, "Well, I just had to confirm this is her work!"...........What the Hell! I've been on my job for almost 8 years.....what a bunch of Dumb A**'s!

I got a call from this number about a half-hour ago. The caller identified herself as an agent of NCO Financial. This is a collections agency.

They call about 5 times a day and whenever we pick up and say "Hello?" No one is ever there. We say it like 3 more times then we hear clicks and that's it. I called them back and a man that barely spoke english answered. He asked for my name and account number and I told him that I didn't know who they were calling for but they call all day and no one is ever on the other line when we pick up. He just said "I'm sorry" and hung up on me.

I'm going to have the number blocked. Rude Mother f***er.

just called back this number. He took me off their list. He wanted my Capital One credit card number and was also looking for a "James" Nobody here at my house with that name????????????????

I don't owe anyone any money and I've had the same phone number for YEARS.  Why didn't they leave a voicemail?  Crazy weird!

This sounds likea scam...we have NO oustanding debt and got a call at 8am on Saturday from this number.
