I think the company, who is providing your phone service right now, has sold your name, your phone number, and your address to those companies!

As in my case, I just got my new phone number for the last two days only, and until now, I don't even remember what my new phone number is.  However, just today alone (05/21/14), since this morning, I have received about 7 telemarketing calls already!  I couldn't believe it.

For the last couple days, since the day I got my new phone number, I have never filled out any form for anything.  So, I think the only way for those companies to know my name, my new phone number, and my address is it must be from my new phone service provider, who is Verizon.

Also got the calls; some came only two days after getting a new phone  number. Finally got tired of the calls and answered it. They told me they were not solicitors and I asked them to take me off their list. Hope they do.

Exact same issue as above; got FIOS 6 days ago, and have gotten 10 calls from 5713065990.  Answered the phone and asked for the owner's name so I could contact the FTC. Of course, no reply.

This number calls me everyday since I had my Verizon Fios installed, I bet Verizon sold my info to them. Picked it up once and told them to stop calling, but did not work. I just filed an FCC complaint, let's see what happens next. I think it claimed to be some kind of security company.

I just moved to this apartment in Alexandria, and they keep calling me to sell me security services, I must have told them each time to take my number off of their list but they don't do that. How can I get them to stop harassing me?

They have been calling me but it comes up under this number: 205-994-3016. They call my house several times a day. I just got this number and it is not even in the phone book yet. :/

On side note, they need scam in the call type.

^This site (from googling the number that calls me) says it is fake ADT sales. SCAM NUMBER!

I receive at least 5 calls per day from the same outfit just after Verizon Fios phone service was activated one week ago.  This is the exact reason I didn't want a land line in the first place--the majority of calls are from solicitors/telemarketers.  I just googled "locktite," as it comes up on the caller ID, to see about ending these calls and happened upon this thread.  It's driving me nuts!

The exact address also comes up on another complaint site as 'LDG financial'.

Frankly, upon completion of the call I was left with the impression this is a low-rent boiler room operation. The call ended with 'Edward' saying he couldn't guarantee to stop the calls to my phone (boiler room tactic) because I was unwilling to give him my physical address (boiler room tactic) even though at no point was anyone there ever given this phone's location/ address. So why do they need it now? I guess they contacted me by illegally dialing numerically to contact people with unlisted numbers (boiler room tactic).  (End Part 2 of 3)

(Part 3 of 3)
'Edward's unprofessionalism didn't stop there, within hours of his 'promise to help' I am now getting calls every 5 minutes. from numerous sources some misidentified some anonymous. I have now @6:05, 10-23-2012 cut off the line as it now ringing nearly non stop, unbelievable the commercial terrorism some people will resort to because THEY can't abide the rules in place.

It is very surprising a venerable company like ADT who likely spends tens of millions to cultivate an image of trust & competence would allow these unsophisticated scammers to represent themselves as ADT (the only company name ever mentioned in their solicitations to me.) I guess it was simply a matter of cost. I can't imagine the monetary price being very high for a bush league company to destroy a company's good name and customer goodwill.

Loctite Rewards ID belongs to a company that evasively hides it's identity likely because of their unscrupulous and -in my state- illegal activity. They (I wasn't told the companies name) are a telemarketing co. (boiler room) hired by the ADT Security Co. (adt.com, 1 (877) 853 8083). I received this information directly from a very surprised/ embarrassed actual employee of ADT. The ADT lady gave me an authorized dealer phone # of (1-800-369-0996 option #3) who 'supervises' their behavior.

The lady at ADT actually got a representative of (LoctiteRewards ?) company on the phone for me. I don't know the companies legal name as the person who got on the line did not give the companies name, his title, or even his own name yet insisted on my name, address & phone# when the phone# alone should've been the only information needed to put me on a do not call list. (End of Part One)

(Part 2 of 3)

Here's the unverified information the boiler room representative gave me;

(No Company Name)
4553 Winters Chapel Rd. Suite 100
Atlanta, GA. 30360
(871) 627-4238
Edward Lindsey (supposed actual name of rep on phone)

Bit more info for everybody - like all of you, within days of getting a new FiOS phone number, I got a call from the 909-438-2108 number soliciting for ADT services.
What's interesting is caller asked for either myself OR my wife, whose name IS NOT IN ANY VERIZON RECORDS!!
After a call to Verizon, I came to the only conclusion I could:

The only person that had both our names and our new number?  The FiOS installation technician

I am positive install technicians are communicating or selling this info back to his Locktite company, unless LockTite has perfected the ability of omniscient knowledge of the entire phone universe.

You are absolutely correct--I got the caller to tell me who gave her my number and she said my phone company was selling the numbers for people had recently moved and started phone service. I have an unlisted numbrt and am on a do not call list, so you'd think the PHONE CO. would be a little more respectful of this.

I think this is VERIZONs doing.

I just got a NEW service via VERIZON. I haven't even given the number to anyone, and yet I keep getting telemarketer calls especially FROM THIS NUMBER that says LOCKTITEREWARDS ATLEAST 3 TIMES A DAY!!!! SO ANNOYING!!!!!! I picked up a couple of times and told them we are on the do not call list (which we are. this was the first thing I did!). Still kept calling atleast 3x/day. Another couple times said hello and other line just went quiet and then hangs up! I am a 571 # and the Locktitrerewards # showing on my phone is (571) 3065990. Arrgh! Stop calling!!!!!!!

I just activated to Verizon Fios also and now my phone is blowing up with all these calls. I have never had so many calls in one day!. And my phone is suppose to be unlisted. I will register with the FCC. Now I will call Verizon and complain. Thanks for your post.

Unreal. I too activated Verizon FiOS, and now get 3 calls a day from these guys. Always from 571-306-5990. When installing the phone, they have the option of paying more for an unlisted number. Now I understand the deal. Either I pay them to keep the number unlisted, or scammers like this Locktiterewards pays them to get my number from their list. Either way, Verizon makes money on my number on top of what I pay monthly for the service.

I've already filed a complaint with the FCC. I recommend everyone does this. Just Google FCC phone complaint. The online form is easy to fill out, and takes about 5 minutes. I've read that if they get enough people complaining, they pursue the case, and then the fine can run up to $5,000/incident. Since they've been calling me 3 times a day for the past two weeks, Mon - Fri, that's 30 * $5k. Pretty sure they'll be out of business in no time - as long as people complain. So complain.
