They called looking for someone that does not live in my home. They then tried to sound like a bully and say" I think this is the right number". That's when I said it was not and yelled right back at them. Don't let these creeps leave you afraid to answer your phone better to answer it and put the creeps right in their place let them know not to call. I would love to tell you what they were after my guess this is a scammer and they tried to sound like a tough guy which was funny.

The same thing calls and does not leave a message only can " I speak to the man or woman of the house." I never pick up calls from ananomys callers. Legitimate businesses should identify themselves. Only crocks hide behind unknown . however, this caller is a male who calls constantly. There has to be a way to stop these pests.
The telephone companies can help identify these people and give their numbers to the authorities to take care of them. I am sure they are aware of the customer's complaints.

They've been calling daily for a couple of weeks.

This morning I set up my home phone to block the number (after the 1st ring the phone hangs up).

Since I did that, they've been calling every two minutes for the past 40 minutes.  

The person on the other end asked for me by my first name and then immediately hung up.  The caller ID gives only "I" as the name of the caller.

Who calls from this number and what do they want.
