Same experience as Katie - when call back, no identification, just gives you the option to push 1 to remove number. Is this some kind of "phishing" scam ?

I just got a call from this number also. I called the number back and hung up

got a called about this number asking if i gotten the package, when i gone home, had checked it and found a moneygram money order, at the same time, got a continues IM about this with one jameskellydmi1, it's about my employment with them, as a partner, they would ask me to recieve payments and then cash it and send them through western union, and they were in a hurry but the money order was post dated, they wanted me to send them the money even before it's been cleared by my bank...

I received several calls from this number early Saturday morning.  Caller ID said NCO, which I did a search on and found it is a financial collection agency. No reason for them to be calling me so I didn't answer.

This is one of the many numbers of a collection agency called NCO. the best thing to do is ignore the calls of phone numbers you dont recognize. AS part of their strategy they will try to bully you or trick you into giving them any kind of personal information. Don't even give your name even if they do have the wrong number because they wil only keep harassing you any way. And if they are calling for you or some one else in your household and believe it is a mistake, check your crdeit reports to make sure no one has used you identity to gain credit.

Received a call at about 12:15  7/23/09 did not leave a message.

Received calls from this number several times.  I noticed some of the comments indicated the calls were identified as advertising, Unknown Name, NCO, etc.  When I received my calls, "Sales Dept" came up on my caller ID.

returned the call and have no idea who or what it is.  Pushed 1 to have my number removed.

This number is definitely a product of anti-social people ....They are getting satisfaction to see people annoyed and victimized.....Everytime this number appears don't answer your phone...Make them feel that they don't exist.....Hopefully authorities will take this activities seriously and have these people pay for their crime....

I'M CALLING THE VA ATTORNEY GENERAL AND MAKING A COMPLAINT, YOU ALL SHOULD TOO...I WORK AT A CALL CENTER AND IT IS ILLEGAL TO KEEP CALLING WHEN YOU ASK FOR YOUR # TO BE PUT ON THEIR INTERNAL DNC LIST.

I get the Computerized Indian Woman too, but only when I dial back the number. When it first rings and I pick it up, there's never anybody there. No attempt to sell me anything or get any info from me.

It repeats your own number saying it's where your calling from listen through and it says if you wish to be removed from our calling list press 1. :) Hope this helps others.

I work reception and it's been calling my office all day and week. LAME!

These idiots called my cell phone at 8:26 p.m. 8/24/09, when I answered no one was there.

Received 2 calls from the following numbers 571-431-1944 and 1945.  Caller ID listed them from Virginia.  Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  Did not leave a message.

This is the first time I get a call from this number. Who is it.

I just got a call from this number too, i didnt answer because i didn't know the number but i cant stand these companies. I have gotten like 4-5 calls lately from different numbers doing that s***.

08/24/09 11:59 a.m. - Called private cell phone number, AND am on the Do Not Call List, but it would appear it does not matter, as someone is selling private/unlisted numbers as well as numbers reported as Do Not Call List to these people.

They leave no message. I never call these numbers back. Area code is for northern Virginia.

Received a call from this number, saying that there were currently no problems with my cc account, but I need to call them quickly blah blah blah.  The only reason I picked up was because I have family that just moved to the DC area.

Just called, got a phone tree and was able to enter my telephone numberto have it removed...hopefully it works! If not I am going to try the screaming technique in their ear, after all it worked for some chick! FYI - my number is not listed...I have recently been searching for a job...my number is on the resume that is posted on various job hunting sites and emailed out to prospective empolyers. I think that is how they got it. Definately a scam, the number traces back to a home in DC not any real business.

I'm so sick of these odd numbers calling what happened to the days where telemarkerters wernt allowed to call cell phones. Atlest I'm guessin its a telemarketer ugh.

I get a call from this number about once a week. Every time I ask them to remove my number from their calling list. However, they continue to call and call.
