Comes up on caller ID as D.C. suburb.  They do not leave a message.

571-431-1980 ... Caller ID showed ARM.  Apparently a debt collector looking for a Mary McCartney who by the way does not live in our household.  We've had our number for about 2 months.  Apparently, she had this ph # before we did.  I told the operator (after waiting for a person for about 1 minute) that she doesn't live in this household.

571-431-1980 is National Asset Recovery Services, a scavenger debt collection agency. They buy, old and invalid debts from collection agencies who long ago released the debt as non-collectible or invalid. They try to collect invalid debts through intimidation.

Just ignore them.

Would not divulge their identity.  Upon answering my phone, it started with a computer generated voice requesting to speak with me.

I keep getting calls from 571-431-1980 but every time I answer the phone who ever it is hangs up. This is a business line they are calling

I also continue to receive calls from 571-431-1980. My caller ID has it listed as ARM. I don't have a clue who it is. I don't answer calls that I do not know who is calling. I took my voice mail off, that way they can't leave messages.

they called me while i was in class this morning, so i didn't pick up the phone. then they called again while i was in the library, so i didn't pick up the second time. i called back, no answer. so, one person has said it was a locksmith and a couple of people say debt collectors? wtf?

this is a debt collector! They have been calling us over and over looking for my husband in regards to a debt that was paid in full over 2 years ago. We have proof that the account was paid and have sent it to them many times via fax and via a mailed copy and still they call. When they call, nothing is said, they just hang up but when I called back, I found out it's a debt collector.

Received a call from 571-431-1980 on 10/24/07 at 7:35pm.
The name on the caller ID came up as ERMI
The left a 3secound "hang up" message.
When I called the number back, I got USA Locksmiths.
Weird .... but freaking annoying !

Keeps calling our cell phones......and only family knows our numbers.....they call and leave no message.....I wish they would stop they are wasting my day minutes!!!!!

They left a message asking to call back. Didn't tell who they were or why they called.
