Someone at your business may have them and have your work number at the contact number.  I am also MedCo and get calls.

Calls once a day while I am at work no messages left. Very annoying when you are at work. Stop it please !

They left a message last time; this is a transcript of most of it:

This is your prescription drug benefit manager calling for [my name] on behalf of your health plan. Please note Medco is now part of the Express Scripts Family Pharmacy. We would like to speak with you about ways to help keep prescription drug costs as low as possible. Please call us at...

I finally decided to answer their call (Medco), told them I'm not interested and to kindly remove me from all lists.  They've not called since.

Many, many unwanted calls from this number.

Called but hung up before leaving a message on the answering machine.  I called them back....was immediatly put on hold by an automated system and was holding for a long time when automated operator said "please hold, your call is important to us".....held on for another long time and then I just hung up........waste of my time...

Call was from Medco Drug Ins. A plan which we are enrolled. Called the number on my prescription and was able to "opt out" of anymore calls. Yet to be seen, but maybe???

Yeah,the Do Not Call Registry is another big a** Joke,hasn't stopped the telemarketer's either.

Medco merged with Express Scripts but they never leave messages

I get several calls a day.  The ID is just the number and they don't leave a message.  I don't ever answer any of the calls, I never asked for these calls and it's annoying.  I'm on the Do not call list and made a complaint to them.

This is Medco.  I used to work with the  ( now ) CEO  of Medco.  He is was an A***OLE before he became a CEO. I can only imagine what a  colossal PRICK he is now.  I wouldn't do business with Medco if they were the only company in business.

I was also getting these calls, which hung up after I answered. I called them back  and it is indeed Medco (now ExpressScripts). I asked to be placed on the no-call list, and also recommended that they check out this list and place the other hundreds of people getting random calls on the no-call list.

Also a Medco / Express Scripts user. Glad that they *don't* leave a message, hahaha.

I love this site. Answers sooo many questions about who bugs people or not.

Express Script is the caller

his response is hilarious.  I love the idea..also funny how he worded it " I let them listen to whatever radio station I am listening to."  Maybe the caller would like Metallica at 9:00 am on Saturday.

I belong to MedCo also, Express Scripts through my company and I do not use them either.

I'm a Medco customer.  The phone rang and caller ID only showed the phone number, so I didn't answer.  Then I checked on the internet and it was Medco.  I called them back and they gave me some important information about my prescriptions.  So, at least in my case, it was legitimate.

Yes this is Medco. They call from this number. From a Florida number. From a NJ number. They are ridiculous. Unfortunately they are my prescription plan provider. I've told them that if I want to use their direct services I will contact them.  They don't listen. So I have blocked all of their numbers.

Got a call from this number.  Never heard of the company mentioned above, do not use mail order pharmacies, so if it was them  it was a random spam call.

Called 12:15 p.m., 4/11/12.  No message. Was actually quite welcome at the time, because it allowed me to "take a call" and excuse myself out of a tight spot. :-)

yeah i got several calls from this number,,, they do NOT leave any messages....  and Medco Used to be my pharmacy provider.....

I also receive many calls from 800-496-4910.  That is how I found this site.  

After reading a bit, what a lot of people don't realize is that the Do Not Call list only
applies if the company does not have a previous "Business Relationship" with you.

When your employer signs up for Medco, I guess they turn over the entire employee database to MHS for solicitation.   This constitutes a "business relationship".  
After all it is one of your "employee benefits".  

The Do Not Call Registry does not help for this.

The other way to look at it is:  The Rules don't apply to big companies.

Got a call from 800 496-4910.  They do not leave messages, therefore, I do not consider the calls too important.  One of these days they will realize that they are wasting their time because I NEVER respond to 800 numbers.  All of the people that I wish to talk to have regular numbers or I will call them!

They called for awhile and stopped.... now they are calling again.  When I answer, they just hang up!

If you have MEDCO they will call you; if you don't have MEDCO they will call you as well. Not even the DO NOT CALL feature will help. They must have friends in high places, because there is no way to stop them and they can get away with it.

Yes, it must be Medco Pharmacy (mail order prescription company) from 800-496-4910. They also call sometimes from phone # 772-335-4498. My husband & I do have them as our health insurance prescription provider.
