I get calls too, but they tend to call you less when you annoy them back.I call these numbers back several times repeatedly until i get tired.Yes it may sound crazy but they do stop calling from that number.I have reduced these calls to two a day by doing this.They waste your time now you waste their time.

Same caller uses different phone numbers/area codes.  Last time I told him he had the wrong number.  Maybe now he'll leave us alone.

I've had the same numbers call me. I don't usually answer calls from numbers I don't recognize but they won't leave a message either. I'm starting to get upset over these bogus calls. Hopefully they stop soon!

I keep getting calls from unknown numbers - all the same reports.  The numbers are 571-441-0131, 410-844-5580, 607-203-5527, 507-540-0434.  Three came yesterday and two today already.

I am getting at least 20 of these calls a day. All different numbers. Some repeats. I do not answer numbers I don't know. It irritates me to no end! The ONLY time my phone rings is from one of these scammers. Seriously if not for the scam calls my phone would not ring! I'm thinking about trying to get Verizon to give me a different number. I haven't had this number but about a month. Oy! Vye!

I just called them back told me to press three if I wish to be taken off the no call lists well I did that then press 1 again to make sure i was then they proceeded to give me my number and was cut off,i am  so  tired of these phone calls every single day this is the second time today and they even call me by my name ,geez already cannot these people just get a life for themselves it was for schooling,I aint tinterested,Oh this time it was from VA

I NEVER answer a call when I don't recognize the #.  If it's a valid call, they'll leave a messge with a callback #.   Go to google or whatever search engine you prefer, key in only the number (with the dashes) .  You'll get many listings.  If it's an unwanted call, I save the # in my phone as being DNA, then set the "ring" to be silent, or 1 beep.  They may call again, but I don't need to see who it is, or be bothered listening the ringing.   I must have over 20 numbers under that heading, but my "solution" has at least cut down the number of repeat calls I receive.

Within the last day or so, my private/unpublished cellphone number has been bombarded by numerous Verified SPAM calls; i.e., 507-540-0434, 410-844-5580, 417-800-2303, 607-203-5527, 202-407-6432, and now 571-441-0131...sheesh! These calls are no doubt originating from the same call center/'robo caller', as it?s just too coincidental. Also, many of these appear to be Verizon numbers originating out of the eastern half of the USA?

The fact that I've been recently receiving a lot of these types of calls from various numbers throughout the eastern half of the USA, has led me to believe that either some ?scumbag? has ?cracked? my cellphone provider?s database or that my cellphone provider (or a 'mole' within that organization) has no doubt added my number to a 'Verified Active Phone Number' list and has then sold my number to one of their call center clients in order to circulate some additional revenue?

I religiously do not answer/have not ever answered calls from numbers not listed within my phone's 'Contact List', but instead, I add them as a Verified SPAMMER (sans ring tone) to it, so that I'll know that such 'bogus' calls are to be ignored in the future. I ignore these calls so that maybe after several rings/unanswered calls, parasites like these might hopefully and eventually drop my number from their "Let's See Who We Can Try To SCAM Today" list; however, they'll just no doubt use a different/new number the next time. Heck, I'm already up to sixteen pages of Verified SPAMMERs.

You know these ?call center criminals?, they're the ones using the (everyday American) first name (moniker/alias) such as Andrew, Amy, Ann, Andy, Steve, Sam, Sylvia, Susan, Tom, Theresa, Mike, Mary, Bob, Bill, or whomever 'running' a 'Gift Card' Scam, the ?Home Loan Modification? SCAM, a 'phony (generic) Survey' SCAM, the usual ?Home Security? SCAM, the well-known 'Cruise Line' SCAM, the 'bogus Political Survey' SCAM, the highly illegal ?Microsoft Windows Security Specialist? SCAM, somebody claiming to have legal authority and is with some sort of attorney's office, somebody pretending to be a process server (who will never call you - BTW), etc.

In addition, I never respond to nor return these calls, especially using the "press 1 to be removed" feature, as all types of calls like these are all just simply SCAMs and these Spammers / Spoofers / Phishers / Scammers 'don't play by the rules' anyway. Calling them back or picking-up the calls only shows them that you are in fact a 'live' number. Their only intent is to illegally ascertain your personal info for their own dubious purposes and nothing more! They?re nothing more than 'Grifters' (aka Con Artists/SCAMMERS) and should be treated as the criminals that they are!

BTW, for those of you who aren't already aware, the 'National Do Not Call Registry' only works for reporting legitimate businesses and does not work for reporting the Scammers/Spammers; therefore, reporting the ever growing number Scammers/Spammers is just an utter waste of your valuable time.

This should be illegal.  My cell phone blows up everyday starting at 7:00am
and doesn't end until 9:00pm.  I called Verizon & even went on line to block
the #'s.  However, Verizon only allows 5 numbers to be blocked.  If you want to
block more, you have to "subscribe" (another way to suck money from you) to a
Verizon service.  I answered a few of the calls and was either hung up on or some
non-speaking English person started jibbering on about something.  I hung up and
last month Verizon billed me for the calls.  After many calls to Verizon, they reversed
the charges but of course there isn't anything they are willing to do about it!  What a surprise!!

they are bill collection companys otherwise known as... scum bottom feeders  LYING SORRY DOGS!!!! they have a recording that says career institute if you call back trying to find out who is calling you. other numbers they use are also. 516-430-5190....407-476-5608....410-844-5580....607-203-5527....417-800-2303... have searched these scum suckers out to help other people... they purchase old hospital and emergency room dept. for pennys on the dollar then call and call and harass good people. I hope these sorry worthless company owners and their employees rot in the hot place !!!!
