However, some of the callers are very persistent, like the card holders people. But we have not heard from them since March when we asked for help and gave them a bunch of phony credit card numbers. After many, many tries to make one of the cards work, the man asked "What are you trying to do to me? and my husband answered "I'm just trying to entertain you like you have been entertaining me."

After being harassed all summer from these numbers, we tried a reverse scam again, and so far it seems to have kept these callers at bay.

With new technology they can pretend to call from any number they want.  Some are fake Missouri numbers and the MO Attorney General is trying to prosecute them, but cannot find them.

   We began getting these "MEDICAL ALERT" calls back in May. We tried several tactics to get them to stop. They INCREASED in frequency AFTER we tried pushing 5 "to be removed". (Answering or pushing a number verifies that they have reached a working number. Don't do it!)
   Most of these annoying calls come with different spoofed phone numbers, which makes it almost impossible for the authorities to find and prosecute them.  If you decide to DO A REVERSE SCAM as we did, be imaginative, DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY CORRECT INFO, and when they insist that they are legitimate companies, TRY TO GET THEIR REAL PHONE NUMBER, ADDRESS, ETC., AND REPORT THE CALL. https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

This caller is a fraud - do not believe anything he says! I listed something on Craig's list for sale, he allegedly made a payment through paypal and sent me a paypal email saying that the money will be released as soon as I transfer some money to his shipping agent. If I believed him, I would have lost $700!!!! Paypal has confirmed that this is a FRAUD and I have sent them all his emails.

Received a call from this number three times today. Each time I answered each time. first for viagra message, second for card services message, third just hung up.

Receive calls from this number at least twice daily.  I never answer and hope they will get tired of it before too long.  Am on the Do Not Call List, but that is a joke, as reporting these bothersome calls and others like them do no good at all.M9F9

A robocall to a cell phone is illegal. Guilt by association is enough proof of a scam. So go back off in your own Jack yard.

The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their scam then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet.

Called yesterday and today....recorded message for Card Services.  I hit option 3 so that they won't call again, but obviously that didn't work.

You only get scammed if you give the callers what they ask.

I get calls from 571, western Oregon, western Washington State, Las Vegas, Nevada, the island nation of Jamaica.
Credit Card Services want to reduce my interest rate to 6%.  When I tell them that since I pay my credit cards monthly at 0%, they hang up.

So....all play makes Jack the scammer....

i don't even answer these calls anymore; i just pick up and hang up.  I never give out my number so they must be just using a robo call system that just dials numbers randomly.

Received a call from this number and did not recognize it so did not answer.  Checked this website and found it to be a scammer.

Same with me, as the rest of these posts. He seemed very interested in my product on Craigslist but the only way he would pay is if i gave him my bank account information to do a wire transfer.  I suggested other ways to pay & he wouldn't do any of them. He was also very pushey w/doing it that way & that way only. He is a scammer & he also uses "Gods" name to try to make you feel more comfortable.  It's ok, when time comes, he will have to answer to God, not me. Let's just pray no innocent person falls for his fraudulent nonsense.

i went through the same thing it is a fake paypal with differnt people, well thats what i have came up with so far. he was scam he said he would have 650 in a account even used emblems from paypal. once i shipped package i went home to call paypal since the email didnt work then come to find out if i wouldnt have raced back and got my things i would be out a lap top and my brothers ps vita,. i would not work with him. i didnt give him the time of day for it to get to nigeria and then no money on my side. just thought for the nxt person that figures out to search the number ....he does not call only text.
