515-571-8589 this # sent me a txt message when  called it back there was no voicemail n no name

I didn't answer the first time, but did answer the second time they called.  They asked me to confirm my name (they said it first) and then hung up.

This man called me yesterday saying in very broken English, he was from the U.S. Government and that I had been approved for a $7500.00 grant to be used any way I wanted. When advised that I had not applied for any grant, I was told I had been randomly selected from a list of taxpayers back in December 2011 and needed to choose a method of payment (VISA, MC, Discover or direct deposit into my checking account). When told I would not provide ANY account information, he insisted I only needed to choose a method he did not need my account info. When asked which government Dept. he represented, he stated Consumer Affairs ... after a long pause. I told him I had no time for such foolishness and hung up. I received another call from this number this morning, but did not answer.

This number calls breathes in the phone and then hangs up. Creepy as hell!

You can report it to the FCC but they will ignore you also. They referred me to the FBI and they ignored me too Your best option is to stop giving your phone number out on the internet because this is how they get your number....I use 800-555-1212 if some internet site demands a phone number it works ever-time.

Just got a call from them.... Told them whoever they were looking for was not here. Told them call back and leave a message... They acted like I was stupid by saying "What" so I told them I didn't know who they are so call back and leave a message!
If they call back I will ignore them

Same number called me, I said hello, man repeated it, and me again, then the man that did not speak good English said," Suck my A$$ Theresa" and hung up. I called the # back and received a disconnected message. How can we report these mindless dumb A$$ES?  I called my phone company and they say that they can not do anything, I am on the do not call list so this must be a scammer that I pissed off...ha,ha,ha, get a lift scammer! If anyone knows how to report and press charges on these fools let me no cause I am going to fry their butts!

Just recieved a call from a man who does not speak good English, all he said was, "Suck my A$$ Theresa". Then he hung up. How can I report this?

Same number said "Suck my A$$ Theresa" and hung up....Tried to call back and number was disconnected. Dude did not speak english good at all. I wonder if this is all his mother taught him how to say. This is why we do not except some humans in America they are a waste to our air!!!!

I got call from this number too and and samething happened to me like  ANN .They offerre me $7000 too.

Same number called me..She could barely speak engilish..I asked her what it was in regards to and she hung up on me too! lol. Do these people just make their living hanging up on everyone? What a bunch of morons haha.

I keep getting calls from these people but never answer. My son was playing with my phone on a Saturday and answered and handed me the phone. They identified themselves and I told the guy that I didn't know this department of the government worked on Saturday. He hung up on me! Lol!

Just got a call from this number...I didn't answer. No message left. Alot of these weird calls have been coming in to my phone these past couple of months. I don't answer, and I always Google them. Every one of them have complaints. I'm also on the Do Not Call list, but that obviously doesn't seem to make a difference. I just continue to ignore.

I got a call from this number . I couldn't understand a word the guy said except survey and grant. I told him i was on the Do Not Call list and he didn't seem to care except to repeat that he wanted to eff me. I handed the pone over to my husband and of course the guy hung up. This is ridiculous something needs to be done about these companies. They are rude, CANNOT speak the American language and I really don't need crap calls or profanity being issued towards me !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also got called.  Seems to be an auto dialer.  He asked for Tina, not me, then hung up. Probably phishing for valid #s to sell.

Same deal - person barely spoke English, 7,000 grant money just waiting for me....  blah blah.... TOTAL SCAM.  Do not give these people ANY information.

The ftc has made laws against people like these. If these idiots continue to do this call your attorney general with the phone numbers. They will handle it from there.

i received a phone call from this number 571-515-5555 and they said the same thing $7000 government grant and when i tell them to send it they get iritated and start cursing

I recieved a threatening vmail message stating " BI*** UR GONNA DIE" so  about to make a police report

just received a call from a person saying I was pre-selected for a 7,000.00 free grant......no pay back then they hung up......weird  hope nothing comes of just answering the call.  could not understand the person as he did not speak English very well.

If you get a call from 571-515-5555 do not answer any questions!  They claim you will be given $7000 grant money and tell you to call 206-792-9451 with your grant approve ID#.  They would not answer any of my questions and they couldn't speak English!  They claim to be based in Washington DC .  They told me I got the grant money because I didn't have a criminal record or any bills.  Then they askd me if I was a student and my age.  When u try to call 571-515-5555 it wont let your or is disc.   I looked on google and saw complaints like mine - and there is no such thing as  "Federal Gov Grants Repairment" .... and if you do a google search for this it will show something about getting grants for home repairs/business owners ... lol

These people are such jokes. My husband (who is the patient and tolerate one) handed me the phone to have a little phone.  I told them the "ploy"to have them speak with me was just to keep them on the phone while immigration and the police arrived at their office!  Suddenly, the $$$ they said we had to pay back to "Washington" was not important and they hung up

I get calls from these grant people multiple times a day. I've asked for their supervisor and they hang up. I tell them I will report them, they hang up and call again five minutes later. I've had my husband tell them they got a wrong number and they call again in a couple of hours. I've received calls from these people as early as 6 am my time and as late as 11:30 pm. It doesn't seem to matter what I say or do when on the phone, they keep calling me. It's been going on for 2 or 3 months now and I want to scream! I don't pick up the phone when I don't recognize the number now and it's causing problems.

they call theres alot of background noise and they hang up if my wife answers they want to talk to her but when you call the number back it says you dialed an incorrect code there calling a couple times a day ...this has gotta stop

This number calls me repeatedly. I will report you to the police and fbi if you dont stop calling me. I say hello and no one says anything. Harrassing me by calling and breathing hard into phone then hangs up. My number is on the do not call list and I can and will prosecute the owner of the number 1-571-515-5555 if you do not stop calling me.
