Never heard of him, and it was to my cell phone (so cost me minutes).

they and especially the woman, Denise Bax who tries to sound so concerned. Acts like they are your bank or part of your bill payment. They should be charged with fraud, acting like they know you and are just fishing to see how stupid anyone can be to even talk to these scammers.

I got this call to from a female using the number 573-498-9921

Got a voicemail on my cell from this number...
It was a female, she said we talked last week about lowering interest rates and monthly payments on my credit card and said that they had a program that could possibly help me lower them. She said it would be my last courtesy call.
I don't even have a credit card...
She said it was Tina Stevens, and her number was 1-877-442-8079.

I really do hope that was my last courtesy call.

I got this call about 4 hours after my bank called me to tell me my credit card information had been stolen and used in Texas.  I didn't answer, and when I called the number back 10 minutes later it was no longer in service.  So you might want to make sure this doesn't happen to you.

I got a long distance call earlier from a 714-360-8121 with a pre-recorded message that this was my last chance to lower my credit card rate to 6.9%. I was to enter 1 to call back or 2 to remove my name from the list. I wonder if pressing 2 let them know that they had reached a valid phone number, as I got a call from 573-498-9921 just now.

Yup, just gone one from Rick, on my cell phone.  Stupid crooks.

Female caller about an account that I don't have: "I did wanna let you know that I did find a solution here. We've got a program that could possibly lower your interest rates to as low as 1.5% and possibly cut the payments close to in half. So, since you are only making the minimum payments, that should be a pretty good opportunity for you.  So give me a call back. This will be your last courtesy call. So my phone number here is 1(877) 442-8079, yet again, that's toll free at (877) 442-8079."

I sure hope it's not my last courtesy call, because it sure was courteous of her.

female caller - left a voicemail - not making much sense - she says i just pay the minumum on my credit card - untrue - i usually pay in full or at least half if im having a bad month - seems to not know who i am.

Some bungholio named "Rick Johnson" called with a recorded spiel about "you know those credit card deals we talked about to lower your rates".  Only family members have my cell number, no crank calls in last 2 years until now.  Yes, I hung up on it.
