I received a text message on 10/19/12 at 12:00 pm to my cell phone number.  They used my actual name.   The text said "hey (my first name) u there? Haven't heard from u in a while."

I responded @ 12:06 pm, "Who is this?"

I received a reply @ 12:06 pm, here is what it said "Lol if you want know who this is you got to add me on yahoo msger, my id is txtieflirty9"

I received a text from this number and this person knew my name but will not respond with who they are..  I was then texted and asked if i use Y chat.  Was told this persons username is "textchick4"

I just received a text saying Hola and my name. When I asked who was texting me, the reply was: "lol if you want to know who this is you got to add me on yahoo messenger, my id is txtieflirty69"

My reply to that is most definitely nsfw. I'm reporting them to yahoo, my cell provider, and to the local attorney general.

same thing today at 5PM

I just received a text at 3:39pm saying, "Hola Stacey?"  I responded at 3:40pm, "Who is this?" No reply yet.

I got a similar text ... no idea from whom.

Same text received using my first name.  Since I don't know ANYONE in Missouri, it was easy to guess this was spam.

I recieved the same message. Told me to add them on Yahoo messanger to continue the talk.

I got the same exact text as CC from same number.  Reverse lookup said it was a Montana number.

Someone just texted me and used my name too. Sounds like a phishing scam of some sort. Message was:

"hello [my first name] you there?? Haven't heard form you in a while."
